Horror rock has been around for a long time. From "Monster Mash" to the Cramps and the Misfits to White Zombie, the genre is at its best when the artist in question is in on the joke.

Sound: Fang Bang is the second studio album by American horror punk musician Wednesday 13. It was released by Rykodisc on August 29, 2006 in Europe, and was later released worldwide on September 12, 2006. Each song on the album is known to have been inspired by a specific piece of horror fiction, such as An American Werewolf in London, Halloween and The Return of the Living Dead. The distinctive sound that i have grown to like from Wednesday 13's previous band Murderdolls and the current band has been refreshed, and revitalised with a hell of horrorific ideas and bits of zombies. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics are really good, once again inspired by horror movies and made distinctive with Wednesday 13's unique voice tone and timbre. Its not too screamo, but it isn't classical - I can tell you. Wednesday tries to give society a different frame to look at the world through. // 10

Impression: This CD is a good quality and i enjoyed listening to it. It has excelled in more feilds the the previous release and has explored musical boundaries with its eerie solos and creepy lyrics. I reccomend that you buy it, even if you don't like horror/punk music. // 10
