Sound: The sound quality is great, as you'd expect from all DVDs. It's nice to hear some live performances from the band, but sadly, at times, they showed the band playing the song live, but simply played the actual track over it. A couple of acoustic and live perfomances that are definetly worth hearing. All hard rock, a little punkish. // 8

Content: It really shows alot on how the band tours, what they're like from the bus to the stage. If you're a fan of the Buzzcocks, they're in there a few times, since they use to do shows together. It doesn't really tell the story of how the band got together, just Ben (singer) telling someone on the phone that they got together in high school. Bios and pictures included on the DVD. Also it would have been nice if they included all there videos on the DVD, but sadly they're not. // 8

Production Quality: Quality's great, works fine, sound is in synch with video. Good enough case. // 10

Overall Impression: Billy Talent is definetly one of the most original bands out there today, and it was a good DVD, but not great. The best thing in my opinion would be the live performances and acoustics. Definetly worth getting for Billy Talent fans, or even punk-rock DVD collectors. // 8

Sound: They had some good live recording in the bonus footage but about 80% of the footage during the 58 minute documentary were recordings. The acoustic versions of "Try Honesty," "Lies" and "Standing In The Rain" were excellent. The basic story of this dvd documentary was about them starting and playing small clubs and progressivly moving up into bigger venues and travelling in larger bus's and player infront of larger crowds. They did well with there acoustic versions of those songs I previously listed and this dvd really shows how much they put into each and every show. // 8

Content: The DVD included a 58 minute documentary, still gallary, bio's on the band members and bonus features. This is a live concert DVD and shows what goes on and off stage with the band. This DVD showed most of the band playing there songs live and they had acoustic versions of their songs "Try Honesty," "Lies" and "Standing In The Rain". The only thing I could say about this dvd that is lacking is the extra stuff. They did not include anything about new stuff that they are working on but either than that it was an excellent dvd for the price (20$ canadian). // 10

Production Quality: There was nothing mind blowing about this dvd technical wise but that dose not matter because it shows you exactly everything about the band and shows all there shows when they just started out and others that are larger as the slowly progressed to being more popular. There were good layouts for selecting which part of the dvd you want to enter and the backrounds on each screen fitted in well with the theme of the DVD. // 10

Overall Impression: I would say that this is an extremly good buy if you like Billy Talent (I love them) or if you want to get into them and find out more about the band. I would have to say the most impressive thing about this dvd would be how much they showed about the band and what they have had to go through to get to where they are today. I loved everything about this dvd and the only thing I could change would be more live footage of them playing there shows because thats one of my favorite things I like to see in a DVD, but either than that it was excellent. // 10

Sound: The music is perfect, as it always has been. However, this has all been discussed on their album's CD review. This DVD was created so you could get to know the members of Billy Talent a little better. And once you watch it maybe you wish you weren't so curious. But seriously, Ben, John, Aaron and Ian are hilarious, and if you have heard anything recent from their website, you know that they are one of the greatest fan-appreciation bands out there. They truly love nothing more than the loyalty and cheer of Billy Talent fans. // 9

Content: This DVD shows their adventure across Canada with the Vans Warped Tour. Along the way they encounter several mishaps/coincidences at their pit stops. For example, their delay of tour due to the Blizzard in Regina (Or Winnipeg, I can't remember). This is a live concert DVD, as well it has (of course) a secondary prong, that is, to show you who the band members are, and what they are like. The song set includes: 01. This Is How It Goes 02. Living In The Shadows 03. Cut The Curtains 04. Line And Sinker 05. Try Honesty (acoustic) 06. Lies (acoustic) 07. Standing In The Rain (acoustic) 08. Crowd Surfing (not a song) I was a little dissapointed that they did not include more of their songs (such as River Below, Voices Of Violence, which is quite rare that they play). However, I was laughing nearly the whole way through, all 4 of the band members are extremely funny. // 9

Production Quality: Production quality wasnt the greates, mainly because it was in the back of a moving van, or on stage. With exception, however, to the Acoustic songs, as well as This Is How It Goes. // 8

Overall Impression: I believe I pretty much said everything I can. I love the jokes/pranks they pull with each other, as well as random people. I do, however, wish that they had added a few more songs to their list. If it were stolen, (now of course I could think of a clever was to say this as usual, but I'm blank) I would buy it again. // 9

Sound: I just bought this DVD and was pretty impressed with the quality of the sound. It has live footage from some of their shows and it sounds great. I also liked how you could actually hear their acoustic performances without turning up the tv or straining to listen. In the documentary their are parts when the lead singer Ben Kowalawicz is talking on his cell phone to people interviewing him and they play music at the same time so it's hard to hear. The guitarist Ian D'Sa has some great licks and riffs and you can see and hear it easily. The drums (Aaron Soloweniuk) and Bass (Jon Gallant) show the true way they play and their way of keeping everything in time. This DVD is a documentary of their headlining tour across Canada, U.S.A and Europe and the shows they play. During some of the live songs the album versions of the songs are "voiced over" the live stuff. And you can see Ben's voice isn't at the right time. There is actually some fairly funny stuff and jokes that happen such as a proverbiel "F--k you!" and people not liking Ben. Overall I was very impressed with the sound. // 8

Content: This is a live concert and documentary DVD of the band and their first tour, also including live acoustic sets and songs from the studio. There is also a stills gallery (pics) of the band onstage, backstage, offstage and some pictures of Aaron's injuries when he sliced his scalp open. There are 7 live tracks to watch from various locations around the world. There are also band bios for each band member such as their role and starting instrument. And finally there is also some live crowd surfing with the Beatsteaks. // 9

Production Quality: Most of the DVD was recorded on a handheld video camera, except for the live stuff obviously. There is not much to say other than it's a lot like a home video they made for fun but thats not the case. Near the very end the cameraman wakes Ian up in the middle of the night and tries to interview him and he uses the night shot, there are some other parts where the night shot is used just because of the lighting and timing. // 9

Overall Impression: For their first DVD I was extremely impressed. I liked the quality of everything. Although I was not impressed with the way they voiced over some of the live songs. If I ever happened to lose this after looking for it I would surely go out and buy it again. I beleive the guys did a great job with this. // 9
