This DVD is awesome, it really gives a good idea of what the atmosphere of the concert may be like. They provide a good solid performance, hopefully the next DVD they make will have the same energy as this one.

Sound: First off, I am a very big fan of Chevelle, so I was really excited when this live DVD came out. The trio of brothers sound great live. Because of the nature of Pete's guitar riffs on the album, the concert's sound quality was somewhat hollowed compared to their previous albums. The vocals were on key, and everybody did a great job performing, but there were some parts in "Forfeit" and "An Evening With El Diablo" that seemed a little subpar. Pete did throw in a little augmentation into some of their songs, like an ending solo on "An Evening..." // 8

Content: I was disappointed by the content of Live From The Norva. It contained a small amount of backstage scenes but most of it is boring and without a point. The set list of the concert is as follows: 01. Family System 02. Forfeit 03. Send The Pain Below 04. Until You're Reformed 05. Sma 06. Mia 07. Point #1 08. Closure 09. Grab Thy Hand 10. An Evening With El Diablo 11. Comfortable Liar 12. Don't Fake This 13. The Red Encore: 14. Wonder What's Next // 6

Production Quality: Decent camera work was used in shooting the concert, but the lighting on the stage was extremely poor. A small, cheap looking fire was mounted in the middle of the stage, and that seemed to be the only source of lighting in the entire concert. The camera operators did show the right band member when their time in the music came, but it was hard to see the members under the poor lighting. // 6

Overall Impression: I thought the DVD overall was not needed. Nothing outstanding happened. Chevelle came back for an encore, which was planned, because the audience really wasn't cheering for an encore. Most of the members of the band stood around the entire set, which was pretty boring. The sound was great, and the vocals were surprisingly great, except the background vocals which definitely needed work. The highlight track was definitely "Closure", but their first album material was very nicely done as well. There just weren't enough features or material to make this DVD anything worth watching. I bought the DVD and only watched it twice - it's nothing special. // 6
