It features the seminal punk band Dead Kennedys, live from their early years at various venues, including the Mabuhay Gardens, the Sproul Plaza at Berkeley and at Target Studios between 1978 through 1981. Sound: Anybody who's heard the Dead Kennedys knows they have a distinctive sound, but most don't know they give an amazing show on stage as well. In this DVD, the Kennedys are young, louder, and faster then you've ever heard them. I don't know their names, but the lead guitarist keeps in time no matter when he messes up, he just hops back in in the middle of a solo, a good solo, just to state. Although the vocalist sounds way different then he does on a recording, he rocks out loud with his raspy vabrado. The rest of the band rocks to, but no one cares as much. // 9

Content: The content of this DVD is, obviously, a collection of live concerts in California from the bands begining. This DVD features some wellknown hits, such as California Uber Allies. The performance of that prticular song is amazing, but the vocalidt doesn't stop touching himself with a rubber glove. Scary. // 8

Production Quality: There are no technoligical tricks in this do to the fact its from the sixties and seventies. The footage isn't the best, but you still get the feeling of the Kennedys blowing your eardrums out of your head. // 5

Overall Impression: Overall, this DVD isn't the best Kennedys I've seen, but for any fan like me, it's a must have. Fans, go buy this already! // 9
