motley crue: Greatest Video Hits
Released: November 11, 2003
Once upon a time, you couldn't turn on MTV without seeing Motley Crue videos in heavy rotation. For those still-loyal fans, this compilation brings back the good old days. From the band's 1982 debut, Too Fast for Love, to 2000's New Tattoo, these 21 videos hit on every phase of the Crue's career: they began as a Kiss wannabe, became huge arena-rockers, then stumbled through new singers and drummers before returning to the original lineup.

Sound: The sound of this DVD is not at its best sometimes, but hey, most of these videos were produced in the '80s! For the most part, the sound is good, not great, but the minor faults are hardly noticeable most ofthe time. // 8

Content: The content is great! The list of videos on this DVD is awesome: from the earliest videos including Live Wire, Looks That Kill, and Same Ol' Situation, to some later videos including Hooligan's Holiday w/John Corabi and Enslaved from the Greatest Hits. It also has some uncensored versions of videos and a remix of Home Sweet Home. It also includes a hilarious interview w/Nikki Sixx and T-Bone! // 10

Production Quality: The production is awesome. Wild Side and Same Ol' Situation have been recorded at live concerts while Smokin' In The Boys Room is a hilarious video set in a school bathroom. The effects are not great, but once again, some of these videos 20 years old. // 8

Overall Impression: This collection is unique because there is no other band that can add up to the quality of Motley Crue's music. This collection of videos has made me realize how great they were in the '80s, and how they have changed their image to rule modern rock! Everything on this DVD is awesome, so go out and buy it! I think there are some secret videos, but I don't know how to open them. // 10
