Sound: This DVD, fittingly titled 'The DVD' showcases Napalm Deaths extreme music talent. It is mainly live, but features music videos too. The videos are excellent and both of the live shows are very good quality, with the second gig allowing you to switch around camera angles. The first gig was with one guitarist, but the second has two so the sound is quite different but retaining the brutality on both. // 10

Content: It includes around 6 of their videos, including 'Greed Killing', 'Mass Apeeal Madness' and 'Breed to Breathe'. Their are 2 whole shows; 'Salisbury Arts Centre' which was filmed in June 1990 and 'Nottingham Rock City' which was filmed in November of 1989. Both setlists feature all the classics and all their best songs from the albums before this was recorded. Then they have 2 songs from the 'BBC TV Arena Heavy Metal Special'. The legendary 'Scum' and the very short 'You Suffer'. These 2 songs have Napalm Deaths the original line up featuring Bill Steer and Lee Dorrian. All the live recordings ahve decent quality all around, with the Nottingham gig having a really cool camera angle feature. It allows you to watch the show from various positions, even on stage. // 10

Production Quality: Top quality all the way through, no faults at all. // 10

Impression: This is an extremely good DVD and you definately get your money's worth. It has some impressive features which definately challenge the other artists of this genre. If this DVD was stolen, I would definately buy it again. 'Nuff said. // 10
