Sound: Realesed in 2006, "Who's Better, Who's Best" is yet another great asset to your Who collection. After wathing this DVD for the first time, it didn't leave as big impression as Who standards such as "Quadraphenia" and "Tommy", although it did grow on me. At some points, the music quality in this DVD is questionable, such as "My Generation" or "I'm Free". Although there wasn't any major mistakes, there was a fairly obvious timing error in "Wont get Fooled Again", however Pete Townhends performance made up for that. This DVD highlights The Who's amazing performances including Woodstock and The Beat Club performance. // 9

Content: This DVD was a compilation featuring such standards as "Pinball Wizard" and "Magic Bus". However, such songs as "Summertime Blues" and "Love Reign O'er Me". This DVD contains such features as 'Jukebox' and 3 previously unreleased tracks. Although there were 20 tracks in all, only 5 of them were live. Many tracks seemed live at first but on closer inpection there were obvious timing differences. There were no performances taken from The Isle of Wight Pop Festival. // 8

Production Quality: The video production was very well re-edited and re-mastered, although not all songs were. "I'm Free" was particually dissapointing. On "I Can See For Miles," There was an extremely annoying and off-putting effect with the lights, used constantly throughout the clip. However, Nearly all other songs were edited to perfection, such as "Who are You", and "Join Together". Extraordinary camera work was used towards the end of "Won't Get Fooled Again", capturing Townshends Magnificent Dive. The DVD included a 6-page booklet, in full colour, containing many photos of the band themselves. The art on the actuall DVD was particually plain, with no more than a photocopied sticker printed on to it, but the front cover art was a magnificent photo, taken in the heat of a live performance. // 9

Overall Impression: Overall, This DVD is a must-have for fans. It sums up who The Who are in just 70 minutes, much better than what any words can say. There was no material that I would leave off. However, I would have liked to see songs such as "Summertime Blues" and "Love Reign O'er Me". For a reasonably cheap price, this is the best music DVD in my collection. If it were to be stolen, atleast my thief is having a great time! // 8
