Features: I guess it was made in 2009, in Korea. (Don't you people EVER say that Korean guitars are bad quality, check this guitar out and you will know!) It has 24 Jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard, 25.5/8 scale. The neck amazed me when I finally got this guitar, its phenomenal! perfect for my needs! Neck trough body, Alder body. (not sure about the necks wood, bc rich page says only that its mahogany or maple, I guess its maple because of the weight, not sure though)The black finish is great, it can get scratches easily though... Wrap around tailpiece bridge is also just awesome! This bridge became my favorite one instantly! One passive DiMarzio X2N pickup and one volume knob for it. Non locking mini rotomatic tuners are also very stable! // 9
Sound: I mainly play Trashmetal and Deathmetal and this guitar is perfect for my needs, it has nothing more I need and none less, and everything this guitar has, they work as they should without any problem and makes playing confortable! The X2N pickup is great, its even hotter than an EMG 81 which I had in my older Jackson guitar. Pretty weird though... I had always thought that active pickups have more output than passive ones. Anyway, the sound of the pickup: clear distortion, very nice when playing fast palm muted riffs, its and agressive sound, not muddy at all! Noisy? NO! Very quiet pickup. It does what it should do: lot of distortion but no feedback at all! But the harmonics from the amp (the "good feedback") ring very nicely! The guitar is meant for metal music, so rockplayers don't bother at all. If you play trash, death, or the good old heavy metal, this is your guitar! // 9
Action, Fit & Finish: The action was pretty much nailed when I got the guitar. I had nothing else to do but tune it when I got it. Pickup was adjusted pretty well also. So far I have not found any flaws on anything else but that it gets scratchy pretty easily and the guitar is not very well balanced, the neck will dive. At first its very annoying but after a while you get used to it. Nut is well cut and the tuning pegs are not loose at all! // 7
Reliability & Durability: Will this guitar withstand live playing? YES! Very nicely! I love to play this guitar live! The hardware seems pretty solid, except that the volume knob is not that sure thing... I haven't got any problems yet but I have had it for only a couple of months. Strap buttons are very solid! They will hold, I don't use straplocks on this guitar, the strap buttons are good enough which come with the guitar. I would definetly use this guitar on a gig without a backup, its very reliable! // 8
Impression: As i have said, I play Trash- and deathmetal and this guitar is a perfect match! I have been playing for about 8 years now and I own also a Gibson Les Paul V.O.S. -58 guitar, Modified Jackson Dinky guitar, Marshall Super Lead Plexi amp, Bugera 6262 (People, the stereotypes about bugeras are WRONG, they are AWESOME amps!), Marshall Mg 100w combo and a Roland Cube 60 watt combo. If this guitar would be stolen, I would hunt that son-of-a-***** down and get it back after beating the heck out of that guy. What do I love about it? Everything! At first I hated the way neck dived but I got used to it. My favorite feature on this guitar is probably the neck, its not thin, but its not very fat either. Somewhere in between, and BC Rich nailed the shape! Very easy access to upper frets and no string buzz at all! Very nice guitar, probably the best guitar I have ever owned! // 8

Features: It was made in 2010, Korea, very high quality guitar. The body is a piece of alder with a mahogany neck through construction. The scale is 24 5/8", just under the Standard Gibson scale. It lessens the tension on the strings, even that tiny difference in scale length. It has 24 jumbo frets, ebony fretboard, a nice feeling neck, not thin, but also not thick. It has a beautyful, and after a while fingerprint ridden black gloss finish. The body is comfortably shaped, but it does tend to tip over, giving it a slight discomfort playing it, but not that much. The Bridge is a massive piece of steel, giving it lots of sustain. It only has 1 pickup in the Bridge position, but that's about all you need for such a shred guitar. A DiMarzio X2N fills in that place, a very edgy and high output humbucker, really made for the metal riffs and high solos. Only 1 volumeknob, what else do you need, to citate the B.C. Rich website. Tuners are Grovers, they do tend to fall out of tuning, but that's because of the lower tension. It's the guitar, and only the guitar you get when you order it, but that's enough when you've played it. // 9
Sound: My music style is mainly metal, and this guitar is perfect for metal. The high output humbucker combined with dense woods like alder and mahogany really gives you the bite a metal axe has got to have. The short scale length does make it a bit harder to downtune, but I use 052/010 prosteels on mine, and it plays like heaven in D standard. I use it through my Vox AD30 VT, and it can give you the real Death distortion sound. I also use Line6 Toneport, and really, any sound fits to the DiMarzio in it. You can also play jazz or blues, since this humbucker not only can be very noisy at high gain, it can be also very quiet at low gain, and you could even blast the treble open and play some Eric Clapton Strat tones. This guitar can be used for anything, but it's destiny is and stays metal. // 10
Action, Fit & Finish: The guitar wasn't intonated when it arrived. The string were also too thin, making it have to low tension. The pickup on the other hand was adjusted perfectly for the nicest sound. The instrument also tends to tip over when you let go of it, and it gives you an extra weight in the hand you play with. That may not be very much, but it can make playing more difficult. // 8
Reliability & Durability: This guitar is a brick wall, it can withstand a storm. This guitar was made for the stage. The hardware looks as solid as can be. You can depend on it, without a backup, definately. The strap buttons are very solid, and will not lose any grip or won't slip from itself. The only flaw about the finish is that it is a fingerprint magnet. // 9
Impression: I play death metal and progressive metal, and this is just perfect. In combination with my DigiTech Death Metal pedal, it blasts beyond imagination. The shape of the neck is heavenly, and the guitar itself is flawless. The only mistakes were the thin strings, and the bad intonation. The seperate parts come together in Chucks soul and legacy, his signature Stealth, a beast amongst guitars, like the owner was a beast amongst the guitarists. No comparison is able for this craftmanship. If it only came with the guitar skills of the Legend himself, but alas that's not possible.

Purchased from: Villsge Guitar
Features: This guitar is awesome made in 2008 in Korea. 24 frets. 24 5/8 scale. Just very simple and brutal axe. The neck is a bit thick bet extremely comfortable, neck thru as well so access to higher frets is no sweat at all. Guitar is entirely made from alder. Jet black finish paintjob. Comes with a wrap around style bridge which is simple and a decent bridge, does it's job. One X2N pickup (best pup ever), one volume knob. Grover mini rotomatic tuners. Neck is lightning fast. // 10
Sound: My music style is heavy metal and any sub genre of metal. This guitar caters perfectly for this style. I use a Boss ml-2 and sometimes a DigiTech black 13 with it. Through a shitty 10 watt amp. Still amazing sound for what gear I have.. A very full sound, thick chuggs and harmonics are effortless. // 10
Action, Fit & Finish: Factory set up was pretty good, I just put strings I like on. The pickups were set up well, plugged straight in and I was like WOW!. Everything was set up properly. I hated bc rich but now... I love em. The guitar is very light cause of the wood and tends to neck dive. Craftsmanship is outstanding perfect in every way. // 10
Reliability & Durability: A really sexy and wonderful guitar! With such an amazing and very powerful tones, a very fast and smooth neck, and a very lovely wicked shape. Everything seems durable, seems reliable enough that I could keep my backup guitar locked away. The black paint finish is beautiful and this guitar is addictive to look at in person. As soon as I plugged it into the high gain channel of my amp I was floored by it's awesome tone. // 10
Impression: I played on this fine guitar and was impressed. I half expected it to be an Indonesian made insult to Death fans. It wasn't. Fine craftsmanship. Excellent factory setup, although in the wrong tuning. After playing it for 20 minutes or so, I realized that it really needs to be played through a Vintage Marshall Valvestate to perfectly mimic Chuck's attack. (Ahem...) Tube amps are a bit too warm to replicate Chuck's tone. I might add that the scale length wasn't as much as an adjustment for me as I thought it would be. This guitar is simple an effective like an AK47. It does what you need it to superbly, nothing more, nothing less. // 10
I love Bc rich, and its what I play. I think a lot of people hate on BC rich just cuz of their radical shapes, and thats annoying. I dont have experience with this guitar, but Chuck sure as hell loved it.

That's not true. BC Rich released ONE tribute instrument, they didn't make a whole series of guitars for him.
And this guitar is hardly the most iconic BC Rich, they made it as a tribute.

i love chuck and i love death, but i hate this guitar. one pickup. ugly shape and color (in my opinion). really short scale length. and all 10's!? this has to be the work of b.c. rich marketers.

Thats the entry series ones. the higher up ones arent that bad. Theres a shop in the town i live in that specializes in BC rich, Quincidently. the owners name is mitch. Mitch sells BC rich... With his... Yeah. okay back on track. Any BC rich around the $600+ area will have 10x the tone of a $200-300 one.
wraparound bridges suck, they cut the strings. spend more money and get the handmade instead of the tribute. other than that, nice guitar, not worthy of 10's but a nice guitar overall.
omg right in the begining it says this guitar is awsome. what it should say is this guitar is garbage.
just pick up a schecter, it cost less and sounds awsome, the only drawback is that the guitar is heavy.

So I take it when you go onto B.C. Rich's website, you see 30 guitars "tributed" to Chuck, most of which he didn't use or design?
Chuck loved his Stealth and they were only made through the custom shop. Most people want a Stealth, most people like Death, I think it's a neat move, and isn't selling out his name at all.

Exactly, upper mid to high end BC Rich rock, but most people give them crap because of the bronze series. Thats like saying fender suck because squires are sh*t.

plus, last i heard part of the proceeds from the sales of this guitar go to Chuck's family.
i cannot say i have ever tried a bc rich and even came close to liking it and ive tried a lot of guitars in the 5 years ive been playing. For the price honestly, there are A LOT of better guitars you could went with
people. i am not an employee, i love bc rich have had this for 6 months, love it. it's my opinion if i want to give it an all 10 review. thanks for ur viewpoints though. i am not offended in anyway , actually appreciate different points of view.

Although I must admit, I dislike 10 reviews.

Corr rect me if I'm wrong but doesn't $1000 (US Dollars)sound a bit expensive for a guitar made in Korea. Japan and US for a $1000 but not Korea (okay their guitars aren't that bad but still)

So you get a guitar that sounds good but handles terribly? Give me a break, I'd like to actually be able to play my guitar for a set comfortably...
If I had the money I would buy this, do my own review, and shut you all up about the noob giving it a 10. It would still probably get at least a 8.5 or 9, but it would at least be a nice fvcking review on a nice fvcking guitar. I already know the two things I won't like about the guitar, and that's the lack of a neck pickup (I miss that pickup on my Alexi), and a finished neck (I HATE finished necks). But I seriously bet if somebody came in here with a goddamn ENGL SE or Bogner Uberschall reviewing it you'd all be shitting your pants at how much you want one.
my amp is a crate blue voodoo, with a vader cab. now this guitar is a machine, however i did not give this guitar all 10, i didnt even write the review. i later found out it was a friend who wrote this . anyway i would give it 8.5/9 simply cause of where it is made and a lack of neck pup
I don't like either the looks or the specs of that guitar, but the musician who used was among the best metal musicians in the world IMO, and that comes from a guy who usually hates Death Metal music .

^ Also people hate B.C. Riches, because of bandwagonism, sheep mentality, unability to form their own opinions based upon testing a good bcrich, being ignorant, being close-minded, and of course plain stupidity.
I bet only 5% of B.C.Rich haters played something other then bronze series...
Oh, yeah, also i observed that people can't seem to form any solid arguments against B.C.Riches.

All 10s on a guitar that's built in korea? hmmmmm no that is a lie
I'm a firm believer in the fact that where a guitar is made doesn't NECESSARILY mean it's bad. I have a Korean Schecter bass that plays as well as my Spector Euro. I can't find a single flaw with it, to be honest. Sure, some countries have a lower turnout of good instruments than others might, but a Korean instrument can be just as good as a USA model, same with Japanese guitars. Those three (along with some European countries) are just about the best, IMO.
The neck is a bit thick bet extremely comfortable, neck thru as well so access to higher frets is no sweat at all...simple and a decent bridge, does it's job.
How is the neck a bit thick, and yet gets a 10/10, and how does a simple bridge that just does its job get a 10? Made in Korea too...I think I'll skip this one and try something else

kinda like jackson did with the randy rhoads V, and thank god for that, or else we'd all be playing gibsons or fenders still, you smartass.
What a wimpy looking guitar, just looking at that flimsy looking body made me wince, this is the enduring legacy of one of death metals' finest progenitors?! what a disappointment....This thing doesn't even compare to other "legacy" guitars in my opinion, its just another "wacky" BC rich with someones name slapped on it for credibility, Chucks' probably rolling over in his grave right now...
Watch several Death videos and you'll see Chuck playing that axe.If you haven't gone to your local guitar store and tried one out, then shut the hell up.It takes no effort to be a hater.I've played along side of guys with all the expensive axes,Jackson soloist,Gibsons,Dean Razors. My old beat to hell B.C.Rich Warlock keeps up just fine. Most guys are shocked at how well that old axe performs.

People stop being so retarded and judging it just because its BC Rich and its Korean. What about all the shitty american gibsons around? Don't judge a guitar by its nationality or brand.
Also theres nothing wrong with BC Richs cept for the little shitty cheap ones. Anything above 600 is grand.
And why pay 1400 for guitar? You can get it for about 7-800
what the **** is wrong with u people, its just a review,no one forced u to buy the instrument.guitar should suit the musical style and thats perfect for death metal playing, although the guy didnt have the right setup for that.and remember chuck didnt play with the korean version of the guitar.
I have it and only complaint I have is that it has neck dive. Im gonna try drilling a new hole in it to fix things. Imo its a good guitar. I like the shape, the sound and its comfortable to play except when trying to sweep when standing(neck dive). I agree it was a bit too expensive.
I have it and only complaint I have is that it has neck dive.
This is the main problem, although it's possible to adapt to it. First tip is to raise the guitar quite high; check Death's live material on youtube. If it was any other guitar Chuck would be wearing then it'd look really retarded. And it still looks a bit, even though it's a stealth. Second thing: some kind of a special strap should be used. Leather is the best in this case as it prevents "slippage". And thirdly, it eases up if you put the rear end of the strap (the thin part if using a normal one made of leather) around the back "horn": not leaving the strap behind it - instead, the strap goes around the front of the horn. That will keep the guitar in a more stable position, although there is a downside: the guitar also twists somewhat towards you.
Besides that, I think it's really "easy" to play standing. Especially lead parts because you can get around the fretboard smoothly. And for rhythm stuff you don't have to twist your right arm to awkward positions like on some other body models.
Second problem is that the pickup sound can be really muddy on some amp configurations when playing rhythm parts. Noise level might be a problem too. >.>
I think the reviewer has no idea how to review. But still, one hawt piece of axe :3 Would be better with say, an invader pickup. But just to pair it off, cant fault variety.
I've played this guitar, and I reaaaaallly disliked it.
Lets just ignore the fact that it's not versatile (since it's obviously not marketed at people with verstility in mind)
I just really disliked the neck, in every way. And I'm not an ibanez S series elitist that thinks everything is supposed to be super thin. I've played some beefier end neck and totally dug them
sorry for double post
Some people seem to be hating on the the Korea aspect of the guitar
I have an MAB1 made in Korea, no flaws, compared it to a prestige RG (in the same price range) and another guitar from indonesia and it's rock solid
Overall this guitar would be cool, if it were 500-600 dollars cheaper
whats with all the hate about bc riches being shitty? you guys think that every other company has some shitty made guitars? besides, its not that bad, its features are kind of basic but you don't need all the fancy features to have an awesome guitar. imo floyd rose tremolo, etc are a pain in the ass to setup, i prefer fixed bridges because its easier to change string etc. so stop the hate.
Setting the record straight: I just played one of these today.
Not for everyone, but if this is what you are after, get it. The DiMarzio X2N is great on this guitar. For the people (including GW mag) who naysay using this guitar though a tube amp: I ran it through a Diezel Herbert using each channel: channel 2 was best: I think the tube amps need u to back off the bass and up the mids: NO MID SCOOPING, or this axe sounds lousy. Been playing over 20 years, and while a ten may be too much, I can say this is the best import I've played, but will of couse need new tuning pegs if it were mine.....
This guitar sounds great! I'm a huge Death fan and it sounds so close to Chucks actual sound as I can get. I picked one up for £200 the other day off a friend who needed cash, and I think it's a good guitar. The only major flaw it is the fact that it's VERY top heavy, but playing a Jackson RR2 for years that doesn't really bother me. The neck is rather fat, but it's not too bad. Not a perfect 10 guitar (in my opinion only an ESP AX-400 can get a perfect 10) but nether the less an 7 or 8, at a stretch a 9.
my amp is a crate blue voodoo, with a vader cab. now this guitar is a machine, however i did not give this guitar all 10, i didnt even write the review. i later found out it was a friend who wrote this . anyway i would give it 8.5/9 simply cause of where it is made and a lack of neck pup
how does that make any sense. why would your friend do that...
I love Bc rich, and its what I play. I think a lot of people hate on BC rich just cuz of their radical shapes, and thats annoying. I dont have experience with this guitar, but Chuck sure as hell loved it.
I personally think it's the Platinum, Bronze, and lower end series. I personally love 2 of B.C. Rich's original shapes, and if I could I'd get a custom.
If you try out a mid level or a high level one, you'll know what I mean.
I have that guitar and I know this guitar doesn't deserve 10/10. I changed the nut for a Bone custom nut. And that low cost bridge seems fine at first but after a while it starts to lean and the intonation goes to pot. to If you buy this guitar, prepare to lay down another 200-300Eur to make it good. But I must say the sound and playing on this guitar is incredible. So long the sound and playability is concerned, it really is 10/10. For METAL at least...
I'd love a 70s Warlock. They do make some nice guitars, but if your justification is that you have to spend an arm and a leg to get a good one, that's a slippery slope. I don't expect greatness out of a Bronze line guitar, but other companies make better entry level guitars.
You can say people are just biching about the shape, but so what? That's what strikes your eye first. If having a radical design serves form before function, count me out. You all have your own body preferences, and you can't act like they're all objective, well thought out opinions.
sweet guitar i just wished it came with black hardware but that kind of undoes the whole signature model deal. This is actually deserving of its rating unlike the rest of the little kids on here who give a a $200 ibanez or epiphone a 9.5 rating.
Had mine for a few months, plays very well. I wouldn't give it 10s though as it's extremely hard to sweep cleanly on it. At least an 8 or 9 overall though, in my opinion, and realistically the lack of a tone knob and bridge pickup have little impact, especially the lack of a tone knob (who ever turns it down at all?)
You guies are hilarious. Man i build my own guitars and sell them for way cheaper with way better woods and electronics and looks. I had a $500 Schecter c1-fr with Duncan Designed pickups and it raiped this thing sideways 24/7
10/10...BULLSHIT
more like 7.5/10
it plays nicely...
Actually they don't all suck for the bitchers, some companies even gibson, fender, dean, washburn, Esp, Ibanez make shit guitars or shit equipment, but it could also be that you suck XD you plug a guitar in and it could sound amazing by one guy like Dave Mustaine or Marty Friedman...whoever right you pick it up and it sounds like shit whom is to blame you! So before you bitch make sure its not your playing and the other equipment for ****s sake x.x. I have played this guitar before and I'm rather good and I loved this guitar but I didn't by it as I'm more of a washburn player and have a custom 7-string by them I have played some bad cheap guitars by them but they aren't designed for all around playing they are made for metal so if you are a noob buying a guitar for looks to stand out in a ****ing jazz crowd don't get a b.c rich dumb ass anyone stating a guitar sucks like that must really suck themselves its like saying oh I bought a gto so I'm going to win the Indy 500 no dumbass sure ya look different but you aren't faster. I love guitar noobs who bitch on these about a guitar.....they take no consideration the purpose of something so they diss it XD.

*facepalm*
there isnt anything good about this guitar
Its just a tribute guitar lol its not designed to be some pro guitar for you to shred up a storm and play all around if it was they'd make him a full series like Dean did with the Dimebag MLs.
Guys to make it more simple its a collectors item....its not a pro series guitar, every company makes a hunk of shit like fender squiers.....cheap guitars are for poor people, starters, kids, B.C. rich has expensive guitars that sound amazing through amazing stacks and half stacks and combo amps and even pedals through practice amps, its all about how much you put into the guitar, or better yet instead of bitching about a companies product why not make one yourself or work with them to make your own custom guitar that is the purpose of kits, parts and custom shops! High quality parts aren't cheap, plus you need to take in the consideration its both your playing and they need to make a profit otherwise they'd go bankrupt if they didn't make a profit.....I appreciate this model, would i have fun with it and use it as a collectors item sure, would I take it on stage no, it isn't made for that I make my own guitars and I buy pro series guitars from washburn and modify them **** if you don't like the sound of this guitar and you want it to sound better but love the body here let me guide you noobs into what most people do, first leave the neck pickup in as they are usually fine for distortion, look for a different bridge pick up like a duncan, bareknuckle or dimarzio, for prog and more wide range control I'd suggest dimarzio, for all around playing duncan, for non stop shred bare knuckle, also when you switch out yourself or pay a shop to ask them to make sure your pots are set to 500 and not 250 or anything else, there problem solved not stop bitching, that will fix your sound problem get a nice looking guitar and swap parts!
I like BC Rich guitars. I made my bronze series warlock sound amazing before I sold it to help me move to a new city. Would I get another BC Rich guitar? Certainly. I'm a Gibson player myself. I have been playing my custom Gibson Explorer for about 10 years now and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but despite that I would definately get a BC Rich as a back up guitar.
I have tried this guitar once. Really loved playing it. Simple features (all you need tho if you play pretty standard Death metal) and in my opinion a cool look. I'm not that fond of B.C Rich guitars, but guitars priced over 8-900$ from them are pretty sweet.
I would not give this guitar 10 for features but still, I would almost give it 10 for the rest since it's a great player and looked very reliable.
i think this guitar is so ugly. i also personally would never buy a guitar with one pickup. right from the get-go your limiting tonal possibilites. stupid especially for sig guitars of this price. played it at guitar center and was not impressed in the slightest with it
if u dont like death metal , if u dont like the chuck ... go fvck your self ... this is a tribute for who love the death metal ... not for a gig who wants to play meatloaf

Guess you've never seen Chuck play. Did you expect a Chuck Schuldiner tribute Modern Eagle? You know, an axe he never played?
There are stupider looking sig guitars (Dime) and higher priced (Vai, Schon, Zakk, almost anybody with a Gibson endorsement) sig guitars out there.
I have 4 Bc Riches,3 Schecters,A Hamer 27 fret. One Bich special edition I just picked up for $25 put some used Dragonfire pups in it ($15)new knobs ($25) and pup rings($5) stripped the finish off the top reset the neck angle($0)And with that wrap around bridge I can play and sound better than all you BCR hatersLOLOLOL If I had mo money I would buy the Chuck sig model in a heartbeat!
