it is a very good review, doesn`t matter if this guy is 15 years old. yes, he may be a little excited about the looks, but i think he did the job quite well. the Roland is indeed a very good amp, and it's going to make any cheap guitar a good one. maybe this guy isn't the most experienced guy (talking about tone and stuff), but who is?

SO, great review. congrats

You were far too generous with every last one of your ratings. I know you're excited about your guitar and all, but it's vital that you write a review impartially and objectively

uh, what about subjectively? think about it.. for the price of the guitar.. and who it's designed to please (a beginning guitarist) it could be a perfect 10. *shrug*

Nice review. I think for pick-ups, ESP entry-level guitars sound the best, at least for the overdriven sound. I picked up and ESP LTD F-50 for $200 new, and I'm very happy.

Sounds decent enough for an entry level guitar, even though the features are obviously a bit cheap. I've got a B.C. Rich Warbeast Bloodbound (one hell of a mouthfull...) which isn't all that much more fancy than this in features, I still would prefer to play my Warbeast than this particular warlock.

I started playing on a yamaha pacifica myself, it's a decent enough guitar if you've got no particular direction at first but otherwise it was rather naff in comparison to my B.C. Rich.

haha i know the guy who did this review - good friend of mine!! although his is ok my bc rich is a piece of shit - the bridge (same as the one on this) shreds ur hand and makes string changes hard, the pickups are shithouse, the screws holding the connection plate on lost their thread and came out and somethin is ****eed up with my tone and volume knobs: STAY AWAY FROM CHEAP BC RICHS

I've got this guitar and it's AWESOME!
Gotta admit, when I first bought it, it was kinda crap; the stock strings are shocking and the standard set up is horrible. But replace the strings, and change the bridge set up... And you've got one hell of a guitar
Good review btw

... And yes, the G1 is a shite pedal.
