56 Pro
56 Pro

Danelectro 56 Pro guitars are a limited edition re-issue of the Dano guitars from 1956. Danelectros, or Danos, have a cult following, especially in the USA. These guitars have a special sound with twin lipstick tube Alnico pickups. The 56 re-issue Danelectros are very limited. If you're a Dano fan, this Danelectro 56 Pro re-issue is a must.

56 Single Cutaway
56 Single Cutaway

The 56 Single Cutaway is the third reissue of the Danelectro U2 released in 1956. This guitar exeeded my expectations and is truly a great guitar, not just for the money, but in its own right. I love how light the guitar is, it begs to be picked up and played.

It has a really nice clean tone, but when you start cranking up the overdrive, things start buzzing, especially the bass notes. This guitar has a richer, fuller sound more than a bright sound.

Dead On '67

The ’67 sports a curvaceous body reminiscent of the shape of a Jaguar or Jazzmaster, but with small, shapely buttocks.

Now I have a great metal guitar for that low, downtuned doom/death stuff and the strings have a tight feel (and sound!) even as low as drop-A. I couldn't really compare it with any other guitars - this model is almost in a league of its own.
