The guitar was manufactured in Korea in 2008, the same year of it's design. Strangely enough this particular model doesn't seem to be available as a 'USA' edition but it makes no difference when you consider that the guitar is incredibly high quality all the way.

Explosion Razorback
Explosion Razorback

The Dean Explosion Razorback electric guitar has high impact looks and puts out concussive licks. A super-snug set neck joint joins the mahogany neck and body for supreme resonance that works with the Dimebucker at the bridge to produce astounding sustain with knife-edge bite. Killer explosion graphics are complemented by a bound rosewood fretboard and black hardware, including a double-locking Floyd Rose-licensed trem.

The Dean Razorback V 255 electric guitar features a mahogany neck and body and a rosewood fretboard. The V-shape neck has a strong, set joint and a 1-5/8" nut. Grover tuners and a locking tremolo keep you in perfect tune while you divebomb the night away.

I'm into alt rock, blues and jazz, so a Tele fits for me.

Things are nice and simple here: master tone and volume, a 3-way lever switch and through-body stringing. The latter is one of the oldest methods of retaining string stability, check out that Fender Tele some time, but here it allows the strings themselves to have a tighter tension as there's more actual wire present.

Small enough that they won't see it coming (but a big enough sound to leave them gasping) Deans Baby ML packs a lot of punch and power into a 3/4 size basswood body with dual humbucking pickups and a contoured top.

It has 22 frets, neck-thru construction, non-locking Standard tunomatic tuners but what really impresses me is the quality of the 2 Dean Humbuckers.

Already a hit with the V, the Black Gold series now includes an ML! The stylistic impressions of the figured flamed maple top and the gleaming gold-toned hardware perfectly complement one of Dean's most sought-after body styles.

The gorgeous transparent black-finished flamed maple top of the Black Gold V is a real visual treat for sure, and it combines with a tone built for rock to make for a serious axe.

The body is a unique and awesome shape to me nothing I have seen before. It is all mahogany body and neck with rosewood fretboard and it plays amazingly.

It's a semi-hollow body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Overall this is a great guitar for any blues or blues influenced rock.
