Features: This is a review for the new for 2011 Skulls Razorback, Korean made featuring 24 3/4 scale 22 fret, mahogany body and set neck this one has an ebony fingerboard, Dimebag traction knobs, Grover tuners, Original 1000 series Floyd Rose bridge, Seymour Duncan Dimebucker SH-13 Bridge pickup, Dean DMT Dimetime neck pickup, V shaped neck, All black hardware and of course the incredible Custom skulls graphic with blood splatter and matching headstock, also comes with a Dean Hardcase. // 10

Sound: I play metal and this beast sounds as badass and Killer as it looks. If you are into hazz or country better read another review. I'm playing through a Dunlop crybaby from hell wah and a Zoom G9.2tt multi fx all going into a Marshall jcm2000 tsl and/or Marshall 100 watt valvestate amp. The Bridge pickup is fairly noisey but am using a noisegate and produces some sweet dimebag tone which suits any type of metal but I also get a really full on sounding Slash gnr tone with a little tweeking. Sounds good through clean channel but don't expect perfect clean tones. Was thinking of replacing the dmt neck pickup but was pleasently surprised with the stock pickup so will leave in (for now). This will also give you effortless pinch harmonics and togethet with the Floyd Rose you can getcha pull on. // 10

Action, Fit & Finish: Right outta the box I can honestly say no flaws at all. Set up needed minor and I mean minor adjusting but was perfectly in tune I believe that even the korean made deans go through to the florida factory for final inspection so yea top notch. Probably worth mentionig that I live in Australia and purchased this online from a USA store so it travelled acrosd the pacific and still arrived in perfect condition. Finish looks AMAZING the pictures on the web give it no justice at all. // 10

Reliability & Durability: Havn't played live yet have only had it a short while but everything seems solid and well constructed. The graphic on it should last as long as you wipe your sweat off after using. Have fitted Dunlop strap locks on it. This guitar is big and pointy so will probably be easy to ding until you get used to the size but is surprizingly comfortable to play standing or sitting. Anyways I am confident that I wouldn't need a back up and the guitar should outlive me with a bit of looking after // 10

Overall Impression: I have always wanted a razorback now I own 2. If it is lost or stolen would absolutly replace. Love the skulls graphic on it, the Floyd Rose takes lots of punishment yet stays in tune. This is a metal guitar made for that purpose alone however can get some good clean blusey sounds to if you like to mix it up. So thats my review now get off your ass and try one out for yourself! // 10
