Price paid: € 4200

Purchased from: MJ guitar store in Munich

Features: Made in the 1990, in Germany. 24 Frets, long scale 25.5". Dunlop Jumbo frets. Solid Maple top. The smaller body has a mahagony body and neck, ebony fretboard, and the neck is carbon fibre reinforced. The finish is the custom Matthias Jabs Signature, split-Diamond mother of pearls inlays, black stripes. Original Floyd Rose Tremolo. Passive electronics. One volume control is given. 1 musclebucker PAF 84. Locking KLUSON Die-Cast tuners. A case, 3 signature plecs, and Matthias Jabs Signature KLOTZ cable are included. // 10

Sound: It really suits different music styles, you can use it for metal or rock, but specially 80' Hard Rock, Scorpions style. I use it with Line6 Spider3 amp, and Boss GT-10 effects pedal. It's not noisy at all, really cool. It has a Rich, Warm sound. The guitar can make different kind of sounds, but it has a good sound for Sweep picking techniques, and fast solos. // 7

Action, Fit & Finish: The guitar was perfectly made, Top Quality. The Pickups were perfectly adjusted, Perfectly Bookmatched top, Perfectly routed bridge. The guitar did not contain any flaws. I think that this the best guitar in the world, after the Matthias Jabs Custom Signature Galaxy 90, witch is inaffordable. (30000$)! // 8

Reliability & Durability: This guitar withstands live playing. The hardware seem like it will last for really long. The strap buttons are solid, (of course if you don't jump and hard preasure the guitar on the strap!) I can completly depend on it, I use it on gigs without backup. The finish is so good that it seems to last at least 50 years. // 10

Overall Impression: I play Hard Rock and Heavy Electric Blues. It matches pretty well. I have been playing for 3 years. I own a Fender Custom Classic Stratocaster, a Standart Gibson Les Paul 80', a SE PRS Paul Allender model, 2008 White Zebra Master Caster and an Acoustic Aria AC25. If it were lost or stolen, I would love buying it again, but it's too expensive. I love the paint, the inlays, and the sound. There is nothing I hate about it. My favourite feature is the whammy bar (it's really rare having an Explorer with a whammy bar. I chosen this guitar because it has a cool sound and Matthias Jabs owns it, he Rocks. It's perfect, cannot be better. // 8
