There is no problem getting SG tones out of the guitar and the single coil sound is glassy, about as fendery as a mahogany guitar can get. The Acoustic tone of the is brilliant, very loud, bright and resonant with lots of sustain, which really was its selling point.

The GS 1.5-40 is a standalone model which comes with specifications and options similar to the the normal GS range, but with a Graf/GS 90 headstock. Commissioned by one of our customers, Ray McKean. Ray gave the model it's "40" designation and so we keep that as recognition of his input into this new model. The GS 1.5-40 has 1 x GSG coil tapped humbucker at the bridge and a single coil at the neck. GSG precision machine heads and traditional wrap over bar bridge. Unique GSG one piece Maple neck and fingerboard, with Graf/GS 90 style headstock.
