beezlebozo :

This is with regards to jeremy chan and to any other t**t who likes to play "metal, nu metal and hard rock". that kind of music sucks, listen to music that is actually good. For all those people who will say "just 'cause you don't like that type of music doesn't mean we should change our taste in music" yes it does, buy buying their products you are allowing these corporate w****s to keep f*****g putting out the most god awful music known to man! At least some rap music is good: run-dmc (mc hammer is just laughable). However people who make metal and nu-metal are just craving for attention 'cause they have no talent. By the way, about this amp, test it out before you buy it, that way you don't waste any money on stuff you're just going to shout about over the internet saying it is s**t. For all those people who have given up on metal and nu-metal, here are some recomendations: RHCP, Radiohead, Kings Of Leon, Muse, Stone Roses, Supergrass, Tenacious D for christs sake! Sorry about the blasphemy, but just so you know, Christianity, and any other religion for that matter, are f*****g stupid. Smoochie Boochies!

I think everyone can agree with me when I say jeremy_chan sounds like a whiny little thirteen year old preppy bastard prick. All he does is complain and bitch...like a bitch. Anyways Metal is alright, sometimes. Nu-Metal sucks, and Hard Rock is alright. I don't know what Metallica he's talking about but if he's calling Kill 'Em All, hard rock, or metal, I swear I will just somehow find him and slap him. Like beezleboo said try out the amp first! If you don't like it, try another amp until you find what's right for ya. And well take a listen to Muse, Radiohead, and RHCP you'll find they're MUCH better than nu-Metal. MUCH better.

dude, seriously, i have this amp, it's pretty good

nmendies :
This amplifier got blown up because it couldnt cope with too much overdrive so I wouldnt really reccomend it, plus the distortion is really bad.

OttovanZanten :
black_sabbath85, i agree
only one thing
NEVERRRRR buy a ****ing MG15DFX, it sucks ass, i think this behringer is better then the MG15DFX, i bought it, SHIT, but playing thru a metal-stompbox it sounds pretty good =)

It?s really funny to read all the spirited (?) comments about this amplifier. I own one and I can say this ? for a $60 amp, what are you expecting? This amp is perfect for someone who practices at home at low volume with an effect processor connected to it for better sounding distortion. People here are expecting great quality distortion, longer life under live performance-type conditions etc etc. You really expect big sound from this dinky amp? If that is what you need, why not spend a few more dollars and buy a good Marshall? Don?t you think it?s dumb to expect a big bang out of a $60 amp(??!!)

tristan123/ :
^Granted, it's only $60, and I'm sure buyers will realise that! A review is giving truthful, overall opinion of the standard of the amp. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean "It's good for the price". We are simply justifying the overall quality of sound etc.

Ackj :
I have the Gm110, which is the 30W version of this amp and about $15 more. I guess its alright for a first amp, when you dont know anything about tone, but other than that, its not a very good amp. The cleans arent clean, the distortion is full of static, and the "27 tones" all sound very similar. If you're a noob, its an ok amp, otherwise, stay away.

weird, a lot of people say it sucks, and the rest says its great, i like it too!

Who the hell is this "beezlebozo" guy? Somebody kick him. (though i would like to add "Nu-metal is Un-metal: - Dave Mustaine)

that reminds me of "Music is like candy, you just have to take the wrap off!"

and the amp is ok, I have it too

FORGET WHAT EVERYONE SAYS ABOUT THIS AMP BEING BAD!
it has better tone than my Marshall MG250DFX. ok, i know thats a rubbish amp too (will be sold soon), but the fact that it has 2 12" speakers should give a better sound quality, but it doesn't!
here are my settings, and btw, the clean doesn't suck, you just have to know hoe to get a good setting.
CLEAN:
DRIVE: 2
AMP: CALIF
MODE: CLEAN
SPEAKER: U.K
EQ: just experiment here.... you'll find great tones!
MASTER: up to you

AWESOME DISTORTION: seriously awesome
DRIVE: 10
AMP: CALIF
MODE: HOT
SPEAKER: U.K (U.S for a more Lamb of God/Pantera tone)
LOW: 8
MID: 5
HIGH: 7.5
MASTER: up to you, prepare to DESTROY!!!!
these are the best settings. enjoy. Laurie

This is going to be my first amp, i've ordered it and also ordered a Yamaha Pacifica 112. I will also use my aunts boyfriends Marshall 100W amp!

that_i_am :
The amp isn't that great but you can get a good sound if you change the settings around, it is kind of a pain though.

i've had this amp for years (since i can't afford an upgrade), and it's worked through 3 gigs and tons of practices. i personally love it, but since it's so old, i think the wear and tear is starting to take a toll on it...

i always keep my drive and tone knobs all the way up, and adjust the amp, mode, speaker, and master volume for everything else. it works great for me.

I have one of these... came with a half decent guitar. Ill be modding the crap out of this, celestion Super8 speaker, rewire etc. Took out a pickup out of the guitar and added a seymore duncan hotrails, sounds much better, through this amp even. Admittedly, after hearing a randall stack, distortion sucks worse than a blind woman at bingo.

Silky Smooth :
It's really not that bad of an amp, if you dial it in just right you can get some pretty heavy sounds going

ive got this amp its ok, it also matches up well with their effects pedals. they are made in china. they have their own factories there the place is so big its unofficially called behringer city seek it out on the web i think there are about 25,000 workers in their china factories.

Lol u suck i got this amp when i was like 9 or 10 and it works perfectly with my line 6 floor pod as long as u turn the drive about half way down there is hardly any feedback and the distortion is great so jeremy chan shut teh fukc up

I got this 2 years ago in a bundle with a decent guitar. Overall it's a pretty good amp. Not great, but for what it's worth, it was worth it. It can get some really good bass and pretty good mids. The only thing that I've noticed is the highs are kind of lacking. But, one of my friends hooked me up to a fender practice amp (I don't remember the model) at the same time, and together they just sang, it was very nice. The distortion is not amazing, but for just messing around, it gets the job done. I use a digitech RP-90 with it though and get some really great sounds. I am looking at buying a new amp at some point in an attempt to get better sound, but I think I am going to wait until I become a better player (no sense in paying loads of money if my playing isn't that great yet). Overall it's a pretty good amp for the money, probably shouldn't be used for anything beyond practicing though.

and Beezlebozo... shut up. You are not the ultimate authority in music. Also, the comment on religion was totally uncalled for. I am tempted to state my opinion on the subject, but this is guitar forum, not a theocracy forum. If you want to argue your opinions on religion, find a different website.
