Purchased from: River music, Cleethorpes

Features: Not a very versatile amp suited really to practicing in your room not making much of a racket. With only 2 channels your music styles are limited to metal, punk and playing from a methods book. It would be much better however, if it had a footswitch for switching between channels this would be a good start, a slight power increase would also raise it's performance. // 6

Sound: I am using a Squier Strat with 3 single coil pickups. I maily play punk and Ska on it. For punk it's basically fine but I have trouble with the ska as trying to get a clean ring from the upstrokes is ridiculously difficult. As the sound level increases it's quality plummets rapidly especially with the overdrive on due to the added hum of feedback no matter how far away your are from the amp. // 4

Reliability & Durability: I would never use this at any other place apart from my room given the option. For a beginners point of view it's fine but when you join a band a new amp will be required. // 4

Impression: If you are starting out with a pretty basic guitar with standard pickups the guitar is fine, however any advance on these and you need a new amp. In my opinion you would be better buying a Peavey, Fender or Marshall around the same price range. // 4
