Electro-Glide Review

manufacturer: righteous tones date: 03/28/2008 category: guitar effects
Electro-Glide
Very easy to use and very easy to get the sound you want out of it. With a mix/blend knob, (wet or dry) you can easily adjust your delay to be right up front or low and suddel. The delay knob adjust the length or repetition of the delay making it easy to add that just 1 echo or go full out space rock! The Time knob simply adjust the distance between the note and the echo.

Sound: I've used this pedal through a Squier Strat and Squier Amp rig, and a High end Jackson and Peavey Tube amp. it's very much a garbage in - garbage out type pedal. Working with good gear really lets this pedals full potential Shine though. But if your still stuck with the Squier setup It certainly helps makes your rig sound fuller and bigger. It a all analog pedal with true bypass so no tone sucking or tin sounding digital effects. // 10

Reliability & Durability: Built very solid, feels like I could throw it through a wall. It got a great metal case, screw on battery door too, only plastic on it is the knobs. Not sure what type of metal the case is stainless steel I suppose, not scratch resistant as if I care though. // 10

Impression: I play mostly blues rock (Floyd, Zeppelin etc.) type stuff. It's a analog delay (true bypass) so it replicas '70s tone amazingly without the problems and maintenance of a tape delay. You really need to hear it for yourself compared to a Digital Delay. The self oscillation effect is so full and big compared to the same effect on the digital Boss pedals. It really is something special and it's a ashame digital is what most people have, especially when the price is comparable to that of Boss digital pedals. I would defiantly replace this pedal if lost or stolen. // 10

I hate to be the grammar police, but "suddel" = "subtle".
