Sound: 3 Doors Down made their annual trip to the UK in June of 2005. This was my first time seeing the band and I was certainly not disappointed. The support band 'Days Of Worth,' were brilliant and I consequently bought their album after the show. When 3 Doors Down came on the audience went crazy and the atmosphere was established right at the begiining of the night making for a great show. The sound quality of first song 'Right Where I Belong' was amazing with it's grinding riffs and emotive vocals which got everyone singing and jumping! // 9
Perfomance: The setlist was predictable but excellent, all the songs the audience wanted to hear were played:
01. Right Where I Belong
02. Better Life
03. Kryptonite
04. It's Not Me
05. Away From The Sun
06. Sarah Yellin'
07. Duck And Run
08. Be Like That
09. Running Out Of Days
10. Let Me Go
11. Landing In London
12. Behind Those Eyes
13. When I'm Gone
14. Changes
15. Here Without You
16. The Real Life
17. Loser
The visual effects were great throughout the show with lights flashing to the time signature of each song, and really adding effect to the already powerful songs and ballads written by the band. The bands interaction with the audience was second to none (except maybe Green Day) with the band getting within reaching distance of the barrier whenever possible. And the audience loved every minute! // 10
Impression: The UK show at the London Astoria on the 9th June 2005 was just amazing, both days of worth and 3 Doors Down made that a night not to be forgotten. Anyone who says that they did not get their money's worth is lying! Their performance has led to me attending a show on their 2006 tour at London's shepherds bush which was even better! The emotion, effort and enthusiasm in each song was brilliant and this band are just sensational. // 10
