Sound: Alice has been in the music business for a very long time now and he gave an interview with Datebook, a Des Moines paper, saying "If you think I have faded with age you are wrong!" Or something to that effect. And he was right. As soon as he came on the stage the crowd went nuts and there was a lot of noise from then on. Alice did a great job delivering his vocals as usual and gave three encore songs for the audience. Blue Oyster Cult was there too. The amps were all Marshall or Roland so it appeared from our seats. The guitarists were using Gibson SGs and Explorers of one kind or another. Best engineered gig I have ever been to. // 10
Perfomance: As I said earlier, the audience was berserk at the show. I can say the same thing about all of the songs that were played: they were raucous, noisy, influential, and lets just say, driven by age. Alice hung himself in a strait-jacket and did an escape act. He also beat up a girl (doll) on stage and bloodied her and a baby doll. Lots of strobe lights included. It was very impressive. // 10
Impression: The concert was in USA, Des Moines, Iowa, Iowa State Fair Grandstand, August 10 2007. It was the first show of the Psycho-Drama Tour 2007 and I must say it was a great show to kick off a tour. The tickets were 30$ even which I would say is a reasonable price for the venue. The whole place was nearly sold out but some of the seats would have been bad and didn't sell. There were only two complaints for the whole show: souvenier prices were way too high because it cost 3 bucks for the shirt I got, and Alice never broke character, that is, he never talked to the audience. Best live concert I have seen in a while. If you can, go to a tour date near you and get tickets right away. I guarantee you wont be sorry! // 10
