Sound: This was a F--KING gig. Each song was a wall of deafening noise. A lovely part was when Casey smacked his stack with his guitar over and over again. You've never heard feedback like it. Some of the Riffs got lost in the noise but it sure made for one hell of a pit. // 8
Perfomance: This is a band Who really know how to put on a show. Amen get alot of support in the U.K and you could tell they loved playing to a British audiance. Almost the entire set list was requests from the crowd so there were alot of favourites, these guys care what their fans want to hear and aren't selfish. Casey Chaos is one hell of a showman. Bending over backwards, jumping off a huge stack of amps, crowd surfing, involving the crowd and screaming his fucking lungs out. The pits reflected the performance. Insane. // 10
Impression: England, London, 21st April, 2004. Tickets were just £10, well worth it. Support from the well recieved Minus didn't really go down well with me. Pretty crappy singer. How ever the awfully recieved Ikara colt put on a great show with a genuinly carismatic singer and nice noisey guitars despite sound problems. My favourite songs in the headlining set were drive (the whole crowd went crazy for it), mayday and justified. Piss virus was also a great live track. All in all it was a great night out. See Amen live if you wanna get your head blown off your body. Which I do. // 10
