Sound: The sound was perfect throughout AVA's entire set. Slight feedback from support band Cord, who incidently were nothing special! Tom's singing was spot on in each song, some backing vocals from Ryan Sinn (bass) however, couldn't be heard, this could be due to him not being loud enough! Both guitars were Gibson, couldn't recogonize which because instead of usual model name on the top of the fretboard, tom had the logo of AVA. I for one found this much cooler and more personal. He's got the money to design! The sound was nowhere near defeaning but definatly loud and every part was auidible. // 9

Perfomance: The crowd was awesome. All were word perfect down on the floor, many of us partaking in some awesome circle pits. The band played all the songs from "We Don't Need To Whisper". Opening with "Valkyie Missile" and closing the show with "The War". There were many particularly special moments. First being the introduction to "Distraction". Tom turned his mic toward the crowd to sing the opening line acapella! Another was the first 2 verses and chorus of Blink 182's "Down" before going into "The Adventure" However this was done at "Give It A Name" so I was expecting it! A final special moment for was the solo version of "There Is" by Tom. // 9

Overall Impression: England, London, Astoria, 12th June. Cord - rubbish. I loved the fact that the intimacy was at high the whole time. Being so close to the stage was a huge bonus. Hated that it wasn't Mark & Travis with Tom up there. 16.00 - 17.60 with booking fee. Definatly worth it! The whole of AVA was unforgettable, the raw emotion was amazing! I will be when they come back to the UK. They are playing tonight (June 13th) at Brixton but I couldn't afford it, sadly! // 10
