The sound was great. MC Bat Commander's vocals were great and the rest of the band was spot on.

Sound: The sound was great. MC Bat Commander's vocals were great and the rest of the band was spot on. It sounded great but at times I was too close to the speakers to make out each instrument. // 8

Perfomance: I loved their performance. The Aquabats had a very passionate and wacky performances complete with villains and poser Aquabats before the encore. They played a very long set and I can't remember all of the songs. They opened with "Fashion Zombies!" and throughout the show they played mostly songs from their new CD "Charge!!" For the encore "The Aquabats" came out and started to play "Pool Party" before the real Aquabats came back and fought them. The real Aquabats then talked a little bit before playing "Pool Party," which was absolutely insane. // 10

Overall Impression: Colorado Springs, CO, USA, The Darkside, August 8th, 2005. Time Again, The Phenomenauts, and The Eyeliners were the openers. They were all pretty good. Time Again was a lot like Rancid and The Phenomenauts were like Devo from space. The show was incredible but the building only had a few air conditioners on the cieling, so it was rediculously hot. The tickets were $12 at the door, which was a steal. Everything about the Aquabats performance was great and very memorable, and I will definitley see them next time they come to the Springs. // 10
