United States of America, New York City, Yankee Stadium, September 14, 2011. Insanity! I loved this concert. Hetfeild, Mustaine, Araya, and Belladonna all sounded terrific, just like the albums!

Sound: Insanity! I loved this concert. Hetfeild, Mustaine, Araya, and Belladonna all sounded terrific, just like the albums! Quality of the sound!?!? Its The Big Four! In Yankee stadium! Try speakers the size of men lined around the field, then on stage a wall of pure brutality screaming at you! I'd give up my left nut to jam through those amps! Metallica usually uses LTD. James had the signature snakebite in about twelve different colors, Kirk had that weenie board guitar most of the time which was pretty cool, you could see the moon fret-markers shooting up as he played. They had the bigscreen going and you could see the sweat running almost faster than the trills in Fight Fire With Fire. Amazing show. // 10

Perfomance: Audience was pure aggression stirred in sweat. Mosh pits here, there, whole f--kin thing was almost a pit when Slayer came on. The line-up was: Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and Metallica. I'm not too familiar with Anthrax, but from what they played, I liked it. Alot. Joey Belladonna was dancing around with an Indian cheifs hat or something. As a plus, Anthrax was awarded with some special metal award. Megadeth played all the classics; "Symphony...", "Peace Sells", "Holy War". Then a couple off the new "Thirteen" album, etc.

Slayer comes on and that was it for me. I f--kin lost it man! I swear to god I was paralyzed the next day haha! They played "Raining Blood", "Dead Skin Mask", "Threshold", "Blood Red", "Angel Of Death" <3, and if I remember correctly they played "Die By The Sword", etc.

Metallica came on and it just made the night perfect. Every new yorker from the bronx to Staten Island got edu-f--kin-cated. "Sad But True", "Enter Sandman", "Kill Em All", Kirk Hammet soloed about four times, "Of Wolf And Man", "One", "Cyanide", "All Nightmare Long", "Broken Beaten Scarred", etc. // 10

Impression: United States of America, New York City, Yankee Stadium, September 14, 2011. Definitely a memorable date. I hated the drive. I live in PA and I can't stand the city, but it was worth it. I absolutely loved seeing the close ups of the guitarists on the big screen. that's all I watched when they had it up. Is amazing how much I learned from that one concert. The tickets were $123.50. The most unforgettable parts were Metallica's pyrotechnics. I thought my eyebrows burnt off and I was a good distance away. Now when you go to some regular old show it a little box that spits out a flame. f--k. That. Try crane lifts about 40-50 feet high with huge boxes on top, each releasing its own immense mountainous hurricane of dragons breath! These thing were HOT as hell! I would go to every gig in every country in every inch of the world that they played in if I had the cash. Amazing concert! // 10
