Sound: I saw Further Seems Forever at their reunion show, having Chris Carrabba, their first singer, sing all the songs from the first alblum (The Moon Is Down). Chris Carrabba did an awesome job, all the wraught emotions from The Moon Is Down shone with his voice as the messenger. He sang loud and he sang hard and everyone in the audience felt it. The sound quality of it all was awesome. The band played with no mistakes. // 10
Perfomance: I loved the show. Many fans were disappointed they only played songs from the first alblum, but I loved it. These are the songs they played:
01. The Moon Is Down - this song started it all off, and got the audience crowd surfing. The volume in Chris' voice was stunning.
02. The Bradley - this song invigorated the crowd to start moshing, people were flying over my head crowd surfing, the audience was ready to rock. The guitars were loud and invigorated the crowd.
03. Snowbirds And Townies - this song was awesome, it's about a beach town, and being that Asbury Park is one it was awesome.
04. Monachetti - this song got the audience moshing and surfing again, and singing along to everyword.
05. Madison Prep - the moshing, surfing.
06. New Year's Project - lighters, singing along and swaying were required for this song.
07. Just Until Sundown - chris came in way too early on this song, but fixed his mistake and made up for it with his stunning vocals.
08. Pictures Of Shorelines - this was the climax of the excitement, the screeching guitar intro set the crowd off.
09. Wearing Thin - these two last songs were never played to live audience, so everyone there was the first and last to hear these songs performed live.
10. A New Desert Life - this was a wonderful ending performance, I think I can speak for the entire audience in saying we were sad to see FSF give the stage to Fall Out Boy.
The only thing wrong with the performance was Chris, the singer, was coming in too early on the songs (about 3/10), but he easily fixed his mistakes and continued the songs. Chris wandered the stage, reaching out to the crowd, and showed a side no one had seen but people that the saw original band perform years ago. // 8
Impression: I saw them at the Convention Hall, Asbury Park, New Jersey on April 30, 2005. The show was the Bamboozle fest so the band was only one of many bands. The other bands were: Sensefield, Midtown, Fall Out Boy, Mae, Silverstein, and Rufio. I loved that I got to hear the entirety of one of my favorite CDs played out live, but hated that I had to wait through some unfavorable bands to hear FSF play. The mosh pits the faster songs Further Seems Forever played were amazing, and the fact that Napolean Dynamite was at the show to introduce Midtown was unforgettable. I would definetly go to another Further Seems Forever concert any time I was able. The night was unforgettable to say the least. // 10
