The Goo Goo Dolls played only their hit songs that everyone knew the words too and just about everyone was singing along at all tiems. The visual effects were good, wiht your average lighting for an outdoor concert.

Sound: This concert was great on sound, it was the blaring moshing rock concert, but like the relaxing on par with Dave Matthews Band sound. Johnny Rzeznik was great on vocals like he usually is. A little coarser sounding than on his ALbums, but he has been singing with the GGDs since 1986. The instruments used were the guitars in a unique tuning and a mandolin for some songs. The quality of the sound was great wiht everything flowing. My overall impression of the sound and the music was that it was great for a concert such as this one. // 10
Perfomance: The audience I think thouroughly enjoyed this concert. The Goo Goo Dolls played only their hit songs that everyone knew the words too and just about everyone was singing along at all tiems. The visual effects were good, wiht your average lighting for an outdoor concert. Nothign really stood out at this concert excpet for the that all of the songs were 'hits'. // 10
Overall Impression: This concert occured on July 22nd, at Darien Lake, New York. The opener for the show was Counting Crows, and they did a great job, minus the fact that they did not play mr.jones, but they say they don't play it live because of somethign with an ex member. I loved tihs concert. I paid 24.50 for this concert to sit on the lawn, which was a little high, but was well worth it. I woudl have appreciated it if it was undre 20 Dollars, but whatever. I loved the fact that the Goo Goo Dolls Played everyone of theri hit songs, and I knew everysingle one of them. Since the Goo Goo Dolls came from Buffalo, which is where I grew up, I will definetly come support their next gig here. // 9
