Sound: The sound in this concert was perfect! The volume was loud enough to be heard throughout the whole stadium, and the awesome range of Billie Joe's guitars through his Marshall amps gave the best sound in a band I have ever heard. There was a range of additional musicans such as Jason White on guitar, Jason Freeze on heaps of instruments and others. // 10
Perfomance: Billie Joe Armstrong is not only a excellent singer and guitarist, he is a fantastic peformer and gets the crowd involved with everything! They started of with new stuff such as American Idiot, Jesus Of Suburbia, Holiday etc. then went into good classic Green Day with Longview, Basket Case, Hitchin A Ride etc and they also played a few covers like 'Shout' and 'We Are The Champions' which was so good! At one point he brought someone who could play bass, someone who could play drums, and someone who could play guitar on stage from the crowd. The person who could play guitar was 12 years old and got to play infront of 50,000 people! When the kid was finished Billie Joe say "Oh, and by the way, you can keep that guitar" and everyone in the crowd including me was so jelous! There was lots of great moments such as at the end everything went dark and Billie Joe came out by himself and played 'Good Riddance' and after he finished fireworks were going of which was an awsome ending for the concert. // 10
Impression: Overall, this concert was the best concert I have ever been to and the atmasphere was really cool in a stadium of 50,000 people screaming there lungs out! It was held at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney on the 14th of December and every space in the stadium was filled in the sold out concert giving it an awesome atmosphere. My chemical romance and Jimmy Eat World supported green day but green day clearly didnt need any support. The tickets were AU$86 but I would have paid more than double to be there! The most unforgettable moment was when Billie Joe drank a VB (an Aussie Beer) with the Aussie flag drapped around him and shouted "Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!" I will definatly go to Green days next gig no matter how expensive the tickets are, it is worth every cent! I gave every section of this review 10/10 and it clearly deserved it! // 10
