Sound: Billie Joe has come a long long way with his singing skills, and he is truly unbeliveable, amazing voice, he can hold notes forever and still sing with that punk anger like back in the day. Billie stuck to basically 2 guitars, his Fernandes Srat copy "blue" and his white Les Paul Junior. The sound was loud and in your face and just unbeliveable, they had the perfect mix of drums and guitar and bass, with nobody overpowering anyone else and you could always hear the singing. // 10

Perfomance: The audience was absoluty huge, it was an outdoor venue in a giant park, I can't even guess at how many people were there, but there was alot (took 2 hours to get out of the parking lot when it was over). I never made it to the mosh pit, though it could see it and it looked huge, most people were pretty civil on the opening bands, but when Green Day showed up everyone went insane, just the way a concert should be. They played a lot of American Idiot songs, and a lot of older stuff, covering there whole span of albums, they played some covers (Shout, We Are The Champions). So many special moments. Bille got 3 people up on stage to play and the band gave them there instruments and the 3 audience members played the ending of King For A Day. Then Billie let the kid keep his guitar, and gave him a kiss. Billie was spraying the crowed with hoses a couple times, he put his hand down his pants and pleasured himself a little bit. And then at the end, as if the concert wasn't enough, there was a 10 minute firework show that was one of the best I'd ever seen. // 10

Impression: It was in Barrie, Ontario, Canada on August 12th, 2005. Anti-Flag and Jimmy Eat World opened, though I think Jimmy Eat World didnt' really fit the bill as much as Anti-Flag did, they really got the crowd going. There was nothing I hated about this show, everything was just plain amazing, I could care less I had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the rain, didn't matter. The ticket was $65.00 well spent. If Green Day ever comes back close to where I live nothing is gonna stop me from seeing them again. // 10
