Sound: Green Day has released the long anticipated follow-up to the American Idiot, the album that saved their careers, and now they are going on tour of said follow-up, 21st Century Breakdown.

Back in the 90s, Green Day played Live as they did in the studio, as a trio. No longer, a six-piece Green Day rocked the Bell Centre in front of over 13 000 screaming fans. The sound was crystal clear, not once did they miss their mark. Nothing was too loud, nothing was too soft, the only word to describe it is perfect. // 10

Perfomance: From the opening chords of Song of the Century, the introduction to 21st Centrury breakdown, the crowd was screaming. As the soft Echoes of the introduction faded away, the light show began and the band dived in to the album's title track. It was liking jumping onto a moving train. The light show was more suited for New Years Eve than a rock show, there was fireworks, spark shooters, and more that made the show come alive, For example during Holiday, instead of saying Bang! Bang! during the Live Bang Bang goes the broken cash man, two fireworks went off in time with the lyrics. And did I mention the Fire Bombs? yeah there were fire balls on stage.

Billie Joe insisted on pissing off the bouncers who were constantly trying to prevent crowd surfing. When ever a fan was getting yelled at by a bouncer, he would pull the fan onstage, and have them run and do a stage dive! Take that bouncers!

He not only pulled fans up for stage dives, but he had some fans sing verses of Longview, and even pulled one guy out of the audience to play Jesus of Suburbia on guitar!

Billie also had a secret arsenal of weapons, including a super soaker, t-shirt gun, and a toilet paper gun.

Set list was:

01.Song of the Century
02.21st Century Breakdown
03.Know Your Enemy
04.East Jesus Nowhere
05.Holiday
06.The Static Age
07.Before the Lobotomy
08.Are We the Waiting
09.St. Jimmy
10.Boulevard of Broken Dreams
11.J.A.R (played by fan request)
12.2000 Light Years Away
13.Welcome to Paradise
14.Brain Stew
15.Jaded
16.Longview
17.Basket Case
18.She
19.King For a Day
20.21 Guns
21.American Eulogy

Encore:
01.American Idiot
02.Jesus of Suburbia
03.Minority
04.Words I Might Have Ate
and of course a grand finale of...

05.Good Riddance (time of your life) // 10

Impression: Amazing, I pretty much covered everything above. The tickets were pretty much standard cost, but they couldve charged triple and it still wouldve been worth every cent. Green Day has truly become the best live band in rock, a must-see. // 10
