Green Day were excellent, singing crisp, bass pronounced, guitar almost not perfect. Visual effects were great, loads of cool explosions and flames. All the audience really enjoyed it.

Sound: Great the sound was amazing, I think I could hear some distortion in Mike Dirnt's Bass though. They had a keyboardist, a second guitarist, a guy on the saxaphone and a guy on the trumpet to accompany them on some songs. All singing was great and the crowd participated with Mike Dirnt's Trademark "hey!" // 10
Perfomance: Already I know that at the end of the year this is going to be in the magazines "Top live shows of the year" It was amazing! Setlist:
01. American Idiot - I missed most of it because my friend needed food.
02. Jesus Of Suburbia
03. Holiday
04. Are We The Waiting?
05. St. Jimmy
06. Longview
07. Hitchin' A Ride
08. Brainstew/Jaded
09. Knowledge
10. Basket Case
11. She
12. King For A Day
13. Wake Me Up When September Ends

16. When I Come Around
17. We Are The Champions
18. Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
During one of the songs a huge flashing light bulb Green Day sign came above the stage. During the perfomance there were flames, stage diving, water pistols, mosh pits and more. Billy Joe brought up three members of the crowd to play knowledge (a drummer, a bassist and a guitarist) and at the end Billie Joe Gave the guitarist the guitar. When Green Day did The cover of Queen's - We Are The Champions it was literally breath taking. The crowd sang along, They did it perfectlly but best of all thousabd of Green Day confetti fell from the roof. // 10
Impression: Brighton Centre, Brighton, 5th of February 2005. Support: New found Glory. I loved every moment of the show but especially when they did the Queen cover. I will definatley go to their next show if their is one in brighton or London. // 10

Sound: Gotta be a 5. I don't like NFG who supported them but their sound was ok. Green Day were excellent, singing crisp, bass pronounced, guitar almost not perfect. Drumming really impressive. Billie Joe used a Les Paul and his old Strat copy, Mike used his signature Precision Fender bass. Not sure which stuff Tre used, couldn't see that well. // 10
Perfomance: Visual effects were great, loads of cool explosions and flames. Confetti cannons at the end covered the entire standing area in Green Day coonfetti. I am still finding it in my pockets. They opened with American Idiot, not their greatest song but got the crowd going. Jesus Of Surburbia was a creally cool nine minutes. Holiday was one of the best songs they played. I'm not sure of the order of the rest of the songs but they included old favourites such as Basket Case, Welcome To Paradise and Longview. Other songs were King For A Day, Knowledge, She, Hitchin' A Ride and Jaded. They finished with Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and Good Riddance. All the audience really enjoyed it, even my 48 year old dad went in the pit. // 10
Impression: Brighto centre was a good venue, but had to queue for ages outside. NFG weren't the best openers but Green Day were really cool. The bit where random members of the crowd got to play in the band was excellent. The guitarist was excellent but was kicked off the stage by Billie Joe with the words: "You can keep the guitar, but get off my f--in stage! Make me look bad!" The only downer on the gig was that Billie Joe kept making the crowd go: "weeeeeeeeoooo" that got annoying after the third time. All in all though, the best gig I've been to! // 10
