Sound: First of all, I'd just like to say that this was by far the best concert that I've ever attended. Now, as for the sound, Green Day is, in my oppinion, one of the best live bands ever. Their sound is so clear. I would even go so far as to say that they sound better live than they do on a CD. Unfortunately, Green Day was not the only group at the show, and New Found Glory does not sound good live. Their drummer was completely overpowering the rest of them. This 5 rating goes to Green Day only. // 10
Perfomance: As I stated before, the concert rocked. The audience was totally into it the entire time Green Day was on stage. They opened with American Idiot, which got everyone totally stoked, and they went on to play a few tracks from the new CD before switching gears and playing some old stuff. The prompt tells me to list the songs they played, but as they played over 20, I cant remember anymore. Along with their own stuff, they covered 'Shout' by some 70s band, and 'We Are The Champions' by Queen. In the middle of the latter, Billy Joe screamed 'I'm rick james, bitch!' it was awesome. Sugarcult, the opener, played a good set, I enjoyed it even though I tend to not like their music as much. New Found Glory also exceeded my expectations, although the lowpoint of the entire concert came when their overweight bassist took off his shirt and proceeded to jump around the stage the rest of the performance. As always at a Green Day concert, they created a fan band, although the drummer they selected was so wasted that Tre had to take over for HIM. I give the overall show a 5 in performance, and I give the fat bassist a 1. // 10
Impression: The show was in Denver, Colorado, USA on November 12, 2004. The opener, Sugarcult, did exactly what an opener should do, which was play a good, short set to get the audience excited. New Found Glory played a mediocre set, although I must admit that I enjoyed it when I generally can't stand their music. Finally, Green Day made you completely forget that two other bands had played before. I loved the Green Day set, and I hated the chubby New Found Glory basist, and everything else was just excellent. The ticket was 45 US dollars, and it was worth every cent. If I had the money or the gas, I would have followed them to Utah for their show the next day. This 5 goes to Green Day, although the other groups did a fine job too. // 10

Sound: Green Day's Denver show freaking rocked soo soo hard. They are seriously seriously great when they play live. I was stunned and speechless when they started playing because they are amazing. I like how they use their instruments to blend the sounds together and it sounds really fabulous. I've always been a Green Day fan and they get my sound rating of 5. Although New Found Glory got the chance of a lifetime to play with Green Day, they blew it they do not get a 5 rating - I'm not rating them at all. They sucked. You could barely hear the singer because all the instruments were way too loud or the mic for the singer was not up all the way or something but it was just horrible. The guy is an okay singer, but not when you can't hear HIM. Billie Joe Armstrong was awesome and you could understand HIM clearly and the band made HIM sound great and he's a great singer for a guy. Green Day's rating is definately a 5. // 10
Perfomance: My performance rating for Green Day on this show is a 5 because everyone loved them. The crowd, including me, went freaking crazy when they started playing American Idiot. Everyone loves that song just because it criticizes the political system today. Green Day's new stuff is a big step up from their last stuff. If you compare Basket Case to American Idiot, you can clearly see the difference. It is obvious that Green Day took a more political appraoch with this new disc. I think it makes everyone just realize that they are a lot more that stupid punks that brought back the love of 3 + 4 chords songs, they are politically working minds and they have a lot more sting to their punch now. Performance rating 5. They were all very active on stage and they communicated with the crowd and they really know how to get the crowd going. They really know how to be the rockers that they are. I give them a 5 for performance. They rocked. Good job Green Day. Keep up the good work. // 10
Impression: The Green Day show in Denver, Coloraodo in the USA was amazing! New Found Glory played with them and they didn't do really well, Green Day was better by far. What I loved about the show was the fact that Green Day was there and they played all their new songs and the crowd was going and I could really feel the vibe. What I hated about the show was that New Found Glory completely and utterly sucked donkey balls. Like said before, the show was very much worth the money. I paid a lot to be in the 2nd row and I can just remember the band coming out and I was so close to them and my heart was pounding so fast and soo hard because I'm a huge Green Day fan and to see them live tore me apart, piece by piece!! I absolutley melted and I will never forget this experience. It was totally unforgettable. Thank you Green Day for changing my life and making me Who I am today. If only I could tell you how much you inspired me to do whatever I wanted to do, I would be even happier than you have already made me. I will go to every Green Day show that I can, I'm already saving up money to go to the next one that will be in Ohio on May 5th, 2005. Everyone else that loves them as much as me should do the same. Green Day freaking rocks. My overall impression rating is a flippin 5 because I love Green Day. Period! // 10
