Sound: I think we all can tell from listening to any Incubus song that Boyd has a pretty good voice. The guitarist had some excellent parts using a large amount of various pedals to achieve unique and outstanding sounds, he was quite impressive. The dj added in those great sound effects that make the songs what they are and the bassist even had some pretty cool little riffs. // 10
Perfomance: The crowd was going nuts because they were energetic and put on such a great show. I'll admit I wasn't even that much into Incubus until the show. I liked them but now I hold them on a much higher level than many other bands. They really got the crowd going and almost everyone in the arena was singing along. At one point, the bassist brought out an extra bass drum, snare, and cymbal, and Boyd went over to his little bongo set, and they and the drummer went on a several minute drum session. It was truly amazing, the timing was perfect and the beat was really cool too. At the end of their little session, the drummer went into a crazy solo and nailed it. He truly blew me away. They also had a pretty cool light show going on too, and there were some videos that they showed on the back screen too. I must say I was disappointed in the fact that they did not play Warning or Pardon Me, but the rest of the songs were awesome. // 8
Impression: I went to see them in the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, USA on June 29, 2004. The concert was well worth the $34.50 for my ticket. Even the opening act was great. It was supposed to be The Hives but due to their "issues", Sparta substituted for them and got the crowd started and pumped for Incubus. It was an all around great show, and I would definitely go see them again if I had the chance and I think everyone else Who was there would too, judging by the huge standing ovation they got at the end begging them to play an encore. // 10
