Sound: The sound, the sounds, the sound. It was amazing. Bruce Dickinson was on top form and so were the rest of the band. They used a wide variety of guitars from the classic Gibson Les Paul's to the new Jackson's which Adrian Smith uses. The sounds given of by this wide variety of guitars was astonishing, you could really here the difference between them. // 10

Perfomance: Iron Maiden are well known for their spectacular special effects and stage set up, and this one was no different. They brought on a huge 12ft Eddie whilst playing 'The Evil That Men Do' which was a spectacle of amazement when it stepped onto the stage. The lighting was also very good. The songs the played were: 'Satellite 15...The Final Frontier' 'El Dorado' '2 Minutes To Midnight' 'The Talisman' 'Coming Home' 'Dance Of Death' 'The Trooper' 'The Wicker Man' 'Blood Brothers' 'When The Wild Wind Blows' 'The Evil That Men Do' 'Fear Of The Dark' 'Iron Maiden' 'The Number Of The Beast' 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' 'Running Free' And they played all of them amazingly. The one that stands out though is 'Iron Maiden' where a giant robotic version of Eddie appeared behind Nicko McBrain. The audience loved it. Bruce had everyone joining in singing especially in the chorus of 'Blood Brothers' and the whole of 'Fear Of The Dark'. As a result of the Giant Eddie and audience reaction it could be nothing else but a 10 for the performance. // 10

Overall Impression: It was in The UK, London at the O2 arena on the 6th of August. The opener for the concert was Trivium. Although they are a good band, they and the sound volumes all wrong. The bass was turned up well to high. This is the only thing I disliked about the concert. However the concert had many more good factors to it. The giant robotic Eddie has to be the highlight for me, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it appear behing Nicko McBrain, I was left speechless. The tickets were 50 and extremely good value and well worth the price. And as a result of everyone thing I've mentioned I'd definatrly go again, and I'd take my friends too. // 9
