The tone was insanely good, and everything was mixed perfectly, except Adam's mic was a little quiet, even for back up singing.

Sound: This concert was amazing. Two local bands and Subconsious opened, then Killswitch hit the stage. They kept the energy going the whole time. Howard is amazing and sang perfectly the whole show, and Adam D and Joel chugged away in perfect time the whole night. The tone was insanely good, and everything was mixed perfectly, except Adam's mic was a little quiet, even for back up singing. // 10

Perfomance: As soon as they came out on stage the crowd, already being very anxious went insane. It was so packed at the front that I had to fight to make enough room to breath. Killswitch played through a couple songs from their first CD, Alive Or Just Breathing, and a lot from The End Of Heartache. Also, this show was the first North American show where they played any of their new material, all of which is great. The only song I didn't like too much was their cover of Holy Diver. Also, Adam had his usual funny antics. Before they played Darkness Falls, he said, "I would like to talk about the origin of this song. it's about a time when Howard went horseback riding in the hills and mountains. He was riding along, and a cougar jumped out and scared the stallion. Thus, Darkness Falls!" Howard also had a couple jokes. "It took us long enough to get here didn't it? I'm black; we do everything slow." // 10

Overall Impression: The show was in the U.S., in Anchorage in the Egan Center on September 29, 2006. The openers were Strept, Mercy Should hurt, both local bands, and Subconsious from Portland Who used to be based here in Anchorage. I loved the energy of the show and how well Killswitch Engage played. The tickets were $35. It was definately worth it. Every moment was unforgettable, and the crowd was insane. If they ever come back to Anchorage, I would buy a ticket without hesitation. // 10
