Sound: The sound level was too loud. The singers voices were distorted and it was hard to make out what they were saying. I mean, I love it loud, but I was too loud. I like to be able to understand what I'm hearing. Paul and Gene mostly took lead vocals, but Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer took backup. Paul had his custom Silvertone Apocolypse, which was the light reflected off. That was cool. // 6

Perfomance: I loved it. I was in awe the entire time. My girlfriend said I didn't stop smiling during and for hours after the concert. Paul Stanley absolutly owns that stage. The pyrotechnics were awesome. The part where Paul Stanley flew out onto a platform in the middle of the floor was cool. And when Gene Simmons did his blood spitting ritual before flying up into the sky for his bass solo was breath taking. But because there wasn't a huge audience, because I went on the secong night, the atmosphere wasn't that good. They started the concert with Love Gun, which wasn't a good starter, but excited me just as much.

I was shaking all over when Gene screamed "You wanted the best, you've got the best! The hottest band in the world, Kiss!" They then did Duece which was awesome. I can't remember every song but I know they did I Was Made For Loving You, Rock And Roll All Night, Calling Dr. Love, God Gave Rock And Roll To You, Making Love, I Want You, etc. That's not even half of them. I can't remember them all. All of the song were great.

It was a shame that Ace and Peter have quit because Kiss have lost most of their good songs. Ace is my favourite and I love all his songs, but Tommy Thayer is a good replacement. The Kiss army banners in the Background excited the die hard fans (like me). The fireworks and flame throwers added excellence effect. // 10

Impression: The gig "Rock the nation", was at Rod Laver arena in Melbourne on Friday 28th of February. It was a shame I could see them on the Thursday with the Melbourne Symphony orchestra, but I got to see my idols so I was happy. Grinspoon and Machine Gun Felatio were the opening band. MGF sucked, but Grinspoon were cool. I loved all of the show. I only didn't like the over-loud sound levels which made it too distorted. The best part was when they did God Gave Rock and Roll To You. I sang it all the way home. The tickets for the Friday that I bought were $90 at two for one. It was definatly worth it because it might be my last chance to see them because I missed out on last year's Kiss Symphony, but I'd definatly go again if they came to Australia again. // 10
