Sound: This is my very first Linkin Park gig. And I was blown away. The sound was incredible, all the instruments were crystal clear and every single song on the setlist was prefectly performed in technique and in sound. Chester's vocals were brilliant too and Mike sounded great aswell. Rob was consistently outstanding on drums, prefectly showcased in his 2 minute drum solo during Bleed It Out. The crowd were insanely loud aswell, which just added to the energetic atmosphere. // 10
Perfomance: This was by far the best thing about the gig. Every song had a light show, bar Pushing Me Away. Bright lights, background videos and spotlights all added to this fantastic spectacle. The band were also good. Chester moved around a lot, entertaining everyone. However, I do feel the rest of the band could be a bit more energetic. The best bit was by far the opening piano chords of Numb. As soon as they were played, a shiver went down my spine and a roar of recognition went up from the crowd. Breathtaking. It was also fun to see the crowds reaction to Chesters comments that "Nottingham were pretty f--king loud last night". There wer a lot of boos, to say the least. // 9
Impression: This gig at the Sheffield Arena on the cold night of January 25th was pretty damn good. Biffy Clyro played a decent show but did not impress the crowd much, we just wanted to see Linkin Park. Linkin Park overall were great, a perfect setlist, a tension-building intro, it was all there for a classic gig. The ticket was expensive at £30 but by the end of the night, it was worth every penny. I've heard the booze was relatively cheap but I'm not sure because I'm only 15 but one things for sure, I am definitely going to their next gig in the UK! // 10
