Mudhoney's sound was absolutely amazing, all the levels seemed to be right the vocals were spot on and the guitars were just perfect.

Sound: Mudhoney's sound was absolutely amazing, all the levels seemed to be right the vocals were spot on and the guitars were just perfect. The tone of the guitars was that of the vintage sound Mudhoney can now call their own, the guitars just sounded so perfect. Mark Arm used a Gretsch that resembled a Les Paul, it looks beautiful and sounded just as good as it looked. Other guitarist Steven Turner prefered to stick with his Gibson Dot and he got some great lead parts out of it. // 10

Perfomance: Mudhoney's performance was just great, from the moment they came on to the moment they left the whole crowd was just one big pit. And me being up at the front was getting crushed but it was major major fun! The pit was at it wildest when Mudhoney played their famed song "Touch Me I'm Sick" and when they unexpectedly played "Suck You Dry" for their first song the whole place automatically errupted. Funniest moment of the whole set had to be someone throwing their shoe on stage! // 10

Overall Impression: UK, London, Astoria, 31st May 2004. The support for the legendery Mudhoney was alright, the first being a hillarious band called The Country Teasers, three extremely good guitarists and funny lyrics complimented them well, it was like a mix between Radiohead & Pavement with a touch of humour. The second support band was a blues quartet, Holly Go Lightly, they wern't bad, I thought the lead guitars was really good though. I love every bit about the whole day of the show, including the Astoria tramp outside, hes hillarious! Tickets were 12.50 so that wasn't bad at all! And free beer there was, Mudhoney when they finished threw cans of beer into the crowd. And yes I will definatly go to their next gig! // 10
