Sound: This performance (which was last night) was totally amazing. The singer skills were perfect and there was no lip synching, it was just flat out awesome vocals. They used several les pauls, drums, a keyboard, a 6 string bass, and for some songs 2 acoustic guitars. The concert was loud and the quality of sound was awesome, especially on the metal songs that were extra loud and harder to play. // 9
Perfomance: The audience went crazy all through the show and I loved it. A few of the songs they played were "Side of a Bullet" which was loud and metallic with a flawless awesome guitar solo and the lead singer even told the crowd it was a tribute to a rocker killed on stage. They also played "Animals" which was just as good as "Side of a Bullet" and was deeply metallic and hardcore, they opened with this song I believe. Another great song was "How you Remind Me" which was less Metallica but rocked out in each chorus and the band showed great stage presence, from walking through and across the stage to headbanging. Great performance. // 8
Impression: The performance was in The USA in Columbia MD and Merriweather Post Pavillion, on July 11 2007. "Daughtry" and "Staind" opened for Nickelback. I didn't really hate anything about the show, but I loved that it was extremely loud and the lights and effects were awesome: Flamethrowers, smoke machines, fireworks, strobe lights, rainbow lights, and more. My dad got 2 tickets of it off ebay for $450, but originally I think the ticket was $150 cause our seats were very close, totally worth the money. A few unforgettable moment were when Daughtry saw a buddy from high school, Nickelback tried to get his brother's, the bass player, son to come out on stage, but the kid was only 5 or 6 so he was too scared. They also shot shirts out and threw beer out and passed water out, and the lead Singer of Nickelback was very funny in-between songs. This was my first concert and it will probably be the most unforgettable and I would totally go to their next gig but I cant. Now becuase of this concert, I'm obsessed with Staind and especially Nickelback. // 10
Side of A Bullet is a tribute to Dimebag Darrell, Not just "A Rocker Killed on Stage" but I guess Nickelbacks main fans would be like "WTF IS a DImebag!?"
... Meh.. Nickelback has some okay songs, but there new album sucked.
They played in canada and they did all that stuff but it was an outdoor concert so it was reallly loud and ya it was dimebag that was killed... R.I.P. Darrel.
