Took place in America, in Seattle, WA in the Paramount Theatre on the 31st of October 1991 (Halloween). Exactly what I would have expected from Nirvana. I feel that some songs performed sounded better live than the album.

Sound: The singers' skills (especially those of Kurt Cobain) were excellent. Exactly what I would have expected from Nirvana. I feel that some songs performed sounded better live than the album. The quality of the sound was very good and you could hardly hear the audience (Bonus points!). My one gripe is that while the flow is good, they go through some of the early songs without really stopping and this may confuse a person who is not familiar to Nirvana's songs. For example: I had never heard of "Aneurysm" or "Drain You" and didn't know what was happening. Other than that, they sounded really good. They obviously rehearsed a lot. // 8

Perfomance: The songs were played with a huge color screen standing behind drummer Grohl. Many of the songs were performed with the screen a blazing red. They played a good selection of their songs, namely: 01. "Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam" (cover of the original work by The Vaselines. Very good) 02. "Aneurysm" (Different) 03. "Drain You" (Amazing) 04. "School" (Very Good) 05. "Floyd The Barber" (Boring) 06. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Very Good) 07. "About A Girl" (Boring) 08. "Polly" (Good) 09. "Breed" (Excellent) 10. "Sliver" (Good) 11. "Love Buzz" (OK (Shocking Blue cover) (Cobain seemed as if he was on the verge of yawning)) 12. "Lithium" (Very Good) 13. "Been A Son" (OK) 14. "Negative Creep" (OK) 15. "On A Plain" (OK) 16. "Blew" (Good) 17. "Rape Me" (an early version of the song)(Excellent) 18. "Territorial Pissings" (Great, Hilarious) 19. "Endless, Nameless" (OK) Although if I had a choice of the songs they played, I would have added "Come As You Are", "Heart-Shaped Box", "In Bloom" and "Lounge Act". The concert was amusing at some points (I loved the Go Go dancers and the clothes that were flung mainly at Novoselic). Some of the noises that they made between songs got repetitive, but the kept your attention (especially the guitar squeals). They were very interactive with the crowd. Making funny comments and talking to the crowd. Another gripe is that with the camerawork that was done, the audience got in the way occasionally, but this added to the reality of the concert. // 9

Overall Impression: Took place in America, in Seattle, WA in the Paramount Theatre on the 31st of October 1991 (Halloween). The opener was Mudhoney although they don't appear on the DVD. The tickets costed $10.00 per adult. I loved the stage divers that appeared every now and again. I hated the guitar squeals to be honest and the way that Cobain's singing seemed tired towards the end (but who can blame him?) They had an excellent technical team. The concert was good but their songs were only a small selection of the best. The most unforgettable moment was when Cobain goes from his deep, grungy voice to the high-pitched intro of "Territorial Pissings". Hilarious!!! // 8
