Sound: Once again, the Legend of rock, Sir Paul McCartney himself returned to the UK for his "Up And Coming Tour". The concert definitely did not fail to impress, with McCartney's contagious enthusiasm for the music and his entertaining variation of instruments used, this was truly the concert of a lifetime! Throughout the straight three hours which McCartney entertained, his instrument changed from piano, to guitar, mandalin, to bass, not to mention the other surprises. // 10

Perfomance: McCartney continually kept the audience involved in the concert with his querky stories and jokes before songs. Also, McCartney's attempt at speaking Welsh was admired and appreciated by all of his Welsh fans present at the concert. McCartney played a mixture of his life's work, sretching from Beatles pieces in the early days, to Wings and McCartney and other songs. Every song was simply outstanding with a very comical band at his side and the wide variation of song style. "Blackbird" played in the middle of the concert brought not only a tear to McCartney's eye but to all who listened to its inspiration and its beautiful words. Switching to the other end of the spectrum, McCartney's lively "Live And Let Die" was beyond exceptional with many shocking effects. The song lived up to expectation and the performance clearly showed how amazing the mixture of stlyes within the song are! McCartney provided many songs as of his encore, leaving the audience gladly believing that it would never end, with McCartney's clear enjoyment of his own concerts and his pure love for his fans. // 10

Overall Impression: The concert was held in the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales, UK on June 26th, 2010. The support bands included three or four up and coming bands and also the Manic Street Preachers who greatly impressed the audience, reaching people of all ages. Personally, I loved every part of McCartney's "Up And Coming" concert, it was all the things which a McCartney fan loves and more and for me it was the concert of a lifetime which could never be topped. The tickets varied in price, from around 55 to about 120 depending on where you wanted to sit. The most memorable moments? Well, McCartney's entrance onto the stage was very memorable, having actually seen and been in the same room as this Legend of rock, Paul McCartney himself. McCartney's playing of "Blackbird" was also extremly touching as was "Here Today". Also, the performance of "Live And Let Die" is something not to be missed as well as his closing and his amazing band! I will most definitely be at McCartney's next gig, it would be unmissable. I'll see him next time! // 10
