Pearl Jam: USA (Philadelphia), October 30, 2009

Closing a historic venue has to be a thrill for a band like PJ who has been around for almost two decades.

Pearl Jam: UK (Manchester), August 17, 2009

As Eddie thanked Manchester's MEN arena's crowd towards the end of August 17th 2009's show, the sincerity in his voice was almost hard to believe it was so profound.

Eddie didn't forget any parts of lyrics, his voice sounded better than ever and the band in general made a very fresh, young and full of energy impression.

The whole crowd really got into the music, people dancing all the way through each segment of the show. The set list was brilliant.

Pearl Jam: Greece (Athens), September 30, 2006

The sound was great. The acoustics in the building were not the greatest, since it was in a sports hall, but the sound was still really good.

Pearl Jam: USA (Hartford), May 13, 2006

Like most Pearl Jam concerts, audience participation is not a choice, but absolutely obligatory. Eddie's vocals on classics such as Alive and Betterman were almost completely drowned out by the audiences sing along and even on the newer songs such as World Wide Suicide.

pearl jam: Canada (Saskatoon), September 7, 2005live concerts
Pearl Jam: Canada (Saskatoon), September 7, 2005

At the start of the concert the sound situation was 50/50. For the slower songs you could hear each instrument perfectly, but when they launched into Evolution you could tell the sound wan't right. Both Eddie Vedder's vocals and Mike McCready's lead guitar were not loud enough, the sound got lost in the music.
