Sound: Reuben are a three piece band and each song had only bass, drums and guitar, but that didn't hold them back at all. They sound absolutely immense for a three piece and are led by a talented frontman Who while singing was still able to knock out some monster riffs. The venue was pretty small, but that didn't mean it didn't sound good, and there was a good balance between the instruments and vocals. // 8
Perfomance: The audience adored them. The place was dominated by pretty hardcore fans, who sang along to most songs, and had some good moshing going on. As far as setlist go, they probably played more B-sides that I would have liked, but they were still very good songs. As far as a live act goes, Reuben are amazing, and their lead singer seems a bit of a comedian, making a lot of funny comments betweens songs, and really got the fans behind them. They really knew how to put on a show. // 9
Impression: The gig was at the Rescue rooms in Nottingham (UK) on the 5th of April 2008. They were supported by 2 bands (Baddies and Ghost Of A Thousand) who were both very good, especially the latter, who put on a very hyper performance and were great fun to watch. Overall it cost 12 pounds to go, but that included p&p as tickets were purchased online, and I'd say it was well worth the cost, and I'd any Reuben fans to see them when they can, you won't be disappointed. // 9
