Sound: Their were two support bands Shadows Fall and Helmet. Shadows Fall was first to come on. Since they were the first to come on the crowd went crazy. They got a big circle pit going and the crowd just fell for them, They are very talented musicians. Helmet were second on but did not light up like the previous band. With their riffquaking riff and throat hurting singing they failed to get the crowd going but played a good set but the crowd were awaiting the arrival of Slipknot which blew the venue down. The crowd went insane and crazy. The sound was great I was right up front so you'd expect it be loud. There was some feedback from the solos but overall perfect. // 9
Perfomance: The crowd loved it totally from waiting in line from 3:30 to 7:00, it was all great. I can't remember what songs they played to be honest. Just it was exellent all the way. At the end Corey Taylor came out waring the Irish flag an started bowing down to us which was great but we should of been bowing down to them. // 10
Impression: The gig was in the RDS Dublin on the 10th of June. The 2 bands that opened for them were Shadows Fall and Helmet. I loved everything except my ear drums got a pounding of a life time. The tickets were 38.50 and worth every penny. The most un-forgettable part was shaking the hand of SID and seeing the bands. I can't wait for their next gig next year I'll be going for sure. // 10
