Sound: This show was amazing! Adam was really on his vocals, all though he always was throwing his mic and missing some parts when he should have came in. He kept the crowd going! The show itslef was super energetic because of the 2 opening bands, Atreyu which is a super amazing live hardcore band, and Funerl for a Friend who our an amazing up and coming UK band. The TBS guitarists were amazing and didn't make a mistake. Pedals and effects were right on q also, making it an amazing sound. // 8
Perfomance: The audience and I loved it. Everyone was jumping and moshing hardcore during Atreyu and during Funeral For A Friend. Taking Back Sunday were amazing. Their was a really weird part in the show though. It was really cool. During the song titled New American Classic, everyone wasmoving from side to side and had zippo lighters so it was like being at a Celine Dion concert, but made everyone feel good and everyone thought it was cool. Here's a list of songs played:
01. Set Phasers To Stun - perfect sound, good song to come out to.
02. You Know How I Do - amazing sound, perfect performance.
03. Cute Without The E - last song they played, amazing, they have a lot of practice with this one.
04. Little Devotional- good.
05. You're So Last Summer - this was their best song! // 10
Overall Impression: The show was in Canada, Montreal, Metropolis, on November 15th 2004. Openers Funerla For A Friend and Atreyu, it was an amazing show! I loved everyone jumping and singing with everyone else. It was really cool. Same with when everyone got lighters for New American Classic (more info on this in performance). What I hated was getting punched in the face all the time during Atreyu. But it was fun none the less. The tickets cost $32.50 CND. The show was definetly worth it with all the special effects and lights TBS had. Tons of lights and fire, pyrotecnicts for Atreyu. Just an amazing show. The best part of the show was prior when we were all getting ready for the show to start their were 2 guys slap boxing the s--t out of eachother. Very Funny. Had to be their. I will definetly go to their next show which is hopefully with Jimmy Eat World. I hope they come to Montreal. // 10
