From the opening of "180 By Summer" through the last one of "A Decade Under The Influence" these guys played so well. The quality of the sound was also incredible.

Sound: Wow. That's all I can say. I've been to some good shows with great sound but this one definitly tops it. The vocals of Fred and Adam were so amazing going on with Fred and Eddi's hard rocking guitars, Matt's driving bass, and Mark's ridiculously heavy pounding on the drums. From the opening of "180 By Summer" through the last one of "A Decade Under The Influence" these guys played so well. The quality of the sound was also incredible. // 10

Perfomance: In my opinion, TBS are hard to beat when it comes to performing. I was all the way up front and man looking around the floor, up to the stands, the place loved them. Mostly because the played the songs that everyone wanted to hear. They played most of the new album including "New American Classic" where Adam asked everyone to grab their girlfriends and spin 'em around. And the old stuff was as always - unbeleivable. Its a bit different than from when John and Sean were in the band, but Fred adds such talent to the band. On "Cute Without The E" he even did a short tapping solo, which was really cool. Plus, they played two new songs which were really fantastic. The set was just unreal, crazy lights with a digital TBS thing in the back. All in all - 6 out of 5! // 10

Overall Impression: On my all time list - Taking Back Sunday at the Theatre at the Meadowlands in East Rutheford, NJ, USA on April 14 2005 was one of the best shows ever! The opening bands, The Format - no offense, they just were'nt my favorites. Maybe it was my anticipation for TBS. And then came Jimmy Eat World who were great. Really rocked it up. But TBS took the prize and blew the place away. The only bad thing about the concert was the dragging out with The Format. They should've gotten Bayside or some other Victory band who are actually good, but what can you do. Otherwise, I loved it. Amazing. The tickets were fairly priced 35 bucks. And I've seen Springsteen with $75 seats, and this one was worth way way way more than that. Not that Bruce is bad, totally different genre. The show was great - TBS fans are like one big family, meeting a bunch of cute girls front row and dancing with them is always good fun. Overall - best concert ever! // 10
