They all sounded great, and Gregg's vocals haven't lost anything over the years. Both drummers were great, and the the 2 guitarists (Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks) were amazing and were ripping solos out all over the place.

Sound: The Allman Brothers Band is, was, and always will be a great band, and are outstanding live. They all sounded great, and Gregg's vocals haven't lost anything over the years. Both drummers were great, and the the 2 guitarists (Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks) were amazing and were ripping solos out all over the place. Warren used a Les Paul and Derek used an SG. // 10

Perfomance: I loved the show and I'm sure everyone at the Grandstand enojoyed themselves too. The show was about 2 1/2 hours long and The Allman Brothers Band played many classics and a few new songs, including (but not in exact order, and I may be missing a few): 01. Statesboro Blues 02. midnight Rider 03. Dreams 04. Trouble No More 05. Into The Mystic (Van Morrison cover) 06. Stormy Monday 07. Sweet Woman Across The River 08. Ain't Wastin Time No More 09. Jessica Encore: 10. Southbound Many of the songs were over 15 minutes long because of the guitar solos that were just amazing. The most freaking awesome solos I've ever seen. Warren Haynes and Dereck Trucks are amazing. There was also a 5 minute bass solo during one of the songs. Jessica, which eneded their normal set, was about 25 minutes long. It was great. My only complaint is that Mellisa And Ramblin' man were not played. Oh well. // 10

Overall Impression: I saw the Allman Brothers Band in Syracuse, NY on August 27th at the New York State Fair Grandstand. Southside Johnny opened and really set the mood for The ABB. He played for about 1 hour. The crowd was really into it, dancing, singing, smoking pot (a Ton of pot) etc. Tickets were $40, but they were worth it. The most unfogettable moments were Jessica, Statesboro Blues, and Southbound. I would deffinately see them again. // 10
