Sound: Despite the fact that The Last Remark is but a three piece band, they demonstrate the skill and integrity of 10 men. On July 20th, 2012, The Last Remark enchanted the 2012 Vans Warped Tour on the "ourstage.com" stage. The Last Remark are a local band out of Philadelphia, PA, and they play an interesting mix of hard rock, thrash metal, and blues. Through out their amazing set, they covered material from the Misfits ("Die, Die My Darling") and Dio ("Holy Diver") along side of their own catchy, heavy, and creative originals.
The Last Remark features Bryan Rolli, 17, on lead vocals and guitar; Raymond Figueroa, 18, on bass and vocals; and Nick "The Animal" Salerno on drums... Yes, he IS an animal. Lead vocals provided by Bryan Rolli soared very well over the special blend of heavy metal that The Last Remark provided. With background vocals from Raymond Figueroa set into the mix, in the style of old-school Anthrax, The Last Remark prove to be a well-grounded band. // 10
Perfomance: The crowd was infected with joy while watching The Last Remark. Their music and Aerosmith-like stage presence set them apart from any band I've seen in 20 years. // 10
Impression: In Camden, NJ at the Susquehanna Bank Center, on July 20, 2012, I was given the gift of seeing The Last Remark. The Vans Warped Tour has never been better in Camden. With tickets at a meer $40, I felt as if I had ripped them off! I will 100% be going to their next show, which is October 21, 2012 at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA... Opening for THE MISFITS! The Last Remark rocks! // 10
