The band played mostly songs of their newest album, Libertad, but also old favourites from Contraband.

Sound: The sound was good considering how loud the band were playing in such a small space. Slash was using his 1987 Les Paul but then changed to his green B.C. Rich Bitch or "Godzilla". Scott sung in front of an effects loudspeaker for certain songs, which was ace but it made it hard for him to be heard. // 9

Perfomance: The band played mostly songs of their newest album, Libertad, but also old favourites from Contraband. They ended the show with Slither, which of course was the best way to go. The energy in the audience was incredible from the moment they came on stage to the moment they left. At one time the band walked off and left Slash on stage and the audience went quiet. He ripped out an amazing 6 minute solo, which was all that could be heard apart from the odd cry of appreciation. // 10

Overall Impression: The gig I saw was in the university of Leeds on Sunday the 16th of March. There were two suport bands playing, the first were an all girl band called McQueen Who have a few good songs and the second were called Year Long Disaster, Who I personally thought were amazing and sounded a little like Wolfmother. The ticket cost 37.50 but I would have payed double that just to see that solo again! I feel quite priveleged to have been there, now knowing that it was the last tour with Scott Weiland singing for the band. // 10
