The sound was pretty decent, the gig was loud and you could hear everything. The band played a typical Weezer set, most of it taken from The Blue Album or the latest, Make Believe.

Sound: The sound was pretty decent, the gig was loud and you could hear everything. The only thing was the bass was really loud, it was humming and making feedback the whole gig, but it wasn't a problem really. You couldn't hear the band talking much in between songs cos of the feedback. // 8
Perfomance: The audience was totally into the band - it was River's birthday and Scott got everyone to sing happy birthday half way through the show. The Academys quite small so everyone got a good view of the band. The lighting was cool, and there was the good ol' giant =W= at the back of the stage. The band played a typical Weezer set, most of it taken from The Blue Album or the latest, Make Believe. Only one song from Maladroit, Slob which was a shame, they ended with Hash Pipe of course. // 8
Impression: The Subways opened they were better than I expected. I loved how small the academy is, the gig felt really personal and you got the felling the band was enjoying themselves too. Ticket was about Ј25, it was worth it. Weezer kick ass. // 10
