The guitar was really loud and everyone else were just kinda there. Yngwie would go around the stage randomly and just throw out picks in between solos.

Sound: First off, Yngwie kicks ass. However, the people who did the sound check really suck. The guitar was really loud and everyone else were just kinda there. Vocals were lost in the mix, but when you could hear him, Doogie did a good job. His voice is pretty good, actually. Sometimes, though, when Yngwie would solo, all you heard was feedback combined with really fast finger motion. Especially his acoustic solo. // 7

Perfomance: I really enjoy Yngwie's music and also enjoyed the performance. I got a bunch of guitar picks (6) and even had him sign an LP. Yngwie would go around the stage randomly and just throw out picks in between solos. Sometimes, they'd be on the bottom of his boot and he'd kick them out or he'd just flick em out at random. Doogie would run around all over the stage while singing and get the audience into it. It was a really good performance. // 10

Overall Impression: The concert was on December 7th in Atlanta at the Roxy Theatre. It was general admission, tickets were a mere 20 bucks, and only about 600 people showed up. I was front row, a little to the left-right next to the friggin PA. This band from Trinidad opened called "Orange Sun". They kicked ass, and Nigel has a great voice and is a phenomenal player. They may be the next big metal band. I loved getting to see Yngwie play, but I couldn't stand the mixing job. It was just too loud. I can't hear out of my left ear much, but I have to say, it was worth it. Especially getting to meet Yngwie after the show. // 8
