The Black Hawk 7-string set is my first experience with Bare Knuckle Pickups, and - dare I say - any electric guitar pickup of this caliber, and they are simply fantastic.

One thing to remember with Bareknuckle pickups is that they are very sensitive to the guitar you put them in.

These are really great pickups, they sound absolutely amazing distorted and pretty darn good clean too.

The output of this pickup is nuts, it has a 15.3k resistance, so it's a pretty hot pickup, but it's actually one of the least hot contemporary humbucker pickups BKP makes.

The output tends to hover around 11.5k to 12.5k resistance depending on what position you ordered, so it's a pretty hot single coil.
